Maybe their debt is less than I thought. But it's still ridiculous that we can't spen 8-10m to fix our finishing problems immediately.
There's no guarantee of a fix for that money, guarantees are €25m+ in that department. Having a go would be nice, of course.

I do find it quite odd that apparently we didn't need a replacement for Chiellini, based on Peluso not doing particularly well.

I was being sarcastic :D

I was taking a dig at certain posters here who defended him by saying he is an Italian international and giving an argument such as scoring that 1 inconsequential goal against Lazio in the defense of him.lol

Well it certainly be a lot better than what we've got considering who plays the most, and that a new player would probably get more game time than 2 capable players on the bench.

Just our entire left flank can be ignored, it's ok to drop points for 2 months. Not a big deal or anything. Certainly can't be fixed either.

What's wrong with Peluso? The transfer cannot be judged yet.
Im not being critical of Peluso here that is another story i'm just feel the transfer was pointless as we already have depth in that department as we do with our midfield. It seems that every we we ignore the part of our team that needs fixing the most.

I dont think it is ignored, its just that the transfers needed to fix the striking department are so tough and sensible that they maybe are out of Marotta´s guru levels.

Maybe, just maybe they care more about their targets than their finances. Maybe they think that the finances get repaired with good players selling jerseys and the club achieving. Something along the lines of other big clubs.
ooooor... they just pay 6m € this year and the rest in installments. choose depending on how much haterade you had today

Are you all really surprised? After Anelka I knew that was it (on the striker front anyway), done and dusted.

We all know how Beppe works by this point, if he can't do it on his terms it doesn't get done.

Don't expect anything, and you won't be disappointed, especially in January.
