7/10 Market..Not addressing our main need. That counts for something ,overall i actually would've given an 8 but in the end i went for a 7 cuz he dint really do well in player sales as well.

Like Lion said here his contract renewal should be put on hold, lets see how our team does this year in all competitions. He's still under review as far as i'm concerned and hasnt done enough to totally 'cement' his position in the Juventus hierarchy.

Tbh he would've redeemed himself if he gets Llorente in January but i doubt thats going to happen.I really hope and expect some sort of 'striker movement' in the January window.

With all due respect, during Marotta's tenure we won a Scudetto and we've become a fearsome and respectable side, when it seemed impossible to make a comeback from hell. Whether he failed to bring a super striker for FIFA or not, he's our hero along with Conte. That's my opinion.
Coach is winning a scudetto, Marotta is bringing players for him. If Marotta brought Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Cavani, and Conte failed to win the Scudetto, would it be Marotta's fault we didn't win it as well? No, becuase he would have completed a fantastic side that should have won it. While currently it's painfully obvious that Marotta failed to bring an importatnt figure for the attack. If Conte again overperforms with what he has at his disposal, it doesn't change the fact that Marotta didn't succeed in his responsibilities.

Yeah, it's all down to Conte. Marotta is just evil.

What if he brought Taffarel, Schmichel and Kahn?

Tell about hyperbole. I actually like Marotta and have always supported him.

What I mean is, the measure of success of a sporting director are the deals he finalises, how he negotiates and what players he signs; not how the team plays on the pitch because that's the end of the training process and the tactics chosen by the coach. I appaluded him for the Lichtsteiner negotiations, when papers reported we offered 10M and Lotito was saying for week he will only accept a full clause of 12M and in th end Marotta signed him for... 9.8M. That was a legendary piece of business.

But this summer he got it wrong when it comes to the attacking department, simple as that. I'm not calling for his head, mind you, but our attack is arguably weaker than last season, especially considering we play in the CL this time.
