Any top player. We are in a dire need of WC striker for his on the field and off the field impact. We lost Del piero FFS and we are replacing him with freaking Berba.

I've already explained why the other top strikers we were after didn't work out. I'm not doing it again.

if you put all your eggs in one basket they could be broken

We aren't spending 60 on any player, we spent almost 30 mil on players that we could live without in position we are really covered, don't you prefer if we spent those 30 mil on a single WC player in a postion we need. If you can chose between Van Persie per example and Isla/Leali/Gabbiaddini. I woudl chose the former easily.

And please comparing our mercato to Milan They don't have the money and we do. Big fucking difference.

One thing to think about with those players you list is

A. Re-sell value
B. Youth and Potential
C. Depth
D. Much lower wages

For example, Buffon retires in a year (god forbid). Then we have Leali who we paid nothing for. If we don't run it like this then we'll always be looking for 20M players. I understand we need RVP right now. It would be great. But there are consequences.

What holes. Our biggest hole is the CF and we didn't adress that but if you think Berbatov is the answer to that never mind.

In the example i gave, I said imagine we didn't buy Isla ( we Have Licht/Caceres/Pepe ), Leali ( we don't need him), Gabbiadini ( average striker ). That's 25 mil between those 3 players.

I would rather if we used that to buy a proven WC striker.

I'm waiting for what new shit you'll come up with to defend Marotta.
