I think the main problem here is that you take yourself far too seriously, or at least your internet persona. Does it really matter what you predicted? No, it doesn't at all. It doesn't matter when you are right and it doesn't matter when you are wrong, and believe me, the latter happens far more than you are willing to accept.
You put yourself on a pedestal (ironic for a Greek

[< that's a forum joke btw]) by boasting about real or mythical [just keeping them coming] things that you have foreseen, so can expect people to take potshots at you. Have a look what happens to the 'gurus' in the transfer forum.
As you point out, this is a forum. On forums you get people taking the piss out of each other. We talk about a lot of football, but we also talk about a lot of other things. I come on here for Juve news, some banter and a few laughs to pass minutes here and there. Then I see a guy taking himself very seriously and he stands out a mile.
When you make outlandish claims you will get some wrong and people will laugh at you, you either stick your neck out and prepare to get hit a few times or don't do it. When you get hit don't complain.
The other issue is that you are ultimately a hypocrite making long posts like these. You've insulted myself and others personally several times here and in other posts. Not only that, but they are space-consuming posts that go to a personal level and away from discussing Juventus.
You are seeing this wrong!
My space consuming posts have mostly Juve as a subject, i do not adress to posters, when i quote them, i adress to their argument about Juve.
Whilst when they quote me, they adress to me and ignore my arguments about Juve.
I rarely, very rarely make exceptions to this rule, when things go to far, but it is not my typical behavior.
You can verify by counting the percentage of my on the topic posts and the percentage of the on topic posts, of the typical trolls we have.
It is not my fault that too many posters are consumed with the flame baits among them and they do not make predictions and assessments about Juve.
For this the reason we are here, not to win a jack ass popularity contest.
It is neither my fault that some are to afraid to make such claim, only because that they know that their arguments will be twisted and be used against them.
Actually thats the biggest proof that i rate forum popularity lower than them.
I never boasted about my predictions, but when i am repeatedly faced with the same arguments again and again, and the i see our board repreating the same mistakes, again and again, i simply remind the past, so we can avoid making the same mistake in the future.
For ex, i was talking about the trend of investing everything we have on CMs and SSs subs and ignoring the strengtheing of our defense.
Young forum members, who mostly are interested of dribbling, simply ignore the defensive issues and blindly support the transfer director.
The season goes by and our efforts are waster by repeatedly defensive blunders.
Next year, the same mistake happens and i see the same or new posters to yet again ignore the defensive issues and crave again for new dribblers.
And i then and there have to remind them what happened last year, so this when and where i use "but hey man, the exactly same BS happened to us last year and the year before that...and before that...", not to boast, but to remind the facts, to remind the reasons we have suffered so much.
I do not wish it to be the iwin argument, but when i see some ppl completely ignore or forget what happened in the past years,
this is one of the arguments that can be used to give them perspective. "Learn about the past, avoid making the same mistakes".
Or "do you remember what happened to us last year because of this? lets try not to forget this time".
As i was there i season before the joined those forums, spotted this weakness in our defense, a season before, i was there in the whole season watching how this weakness made us suffer that much, match every match, pointing out this weakness, both in the live threads and after match reports.
This is what i wish to remind, not to boast! I m sorry that some ppl see it as boast, i wish they shouldnt, it is not my intention, i dont think like that, thats why it never occured to me this way.
It is not my fault that our transfer directors repeat the same mistakes for each and every year, in the past 7 years.
Honestly i would love them to prove me wrong, for the good of Juve.
As an example, i believe that the latest crop of Italian defenders are crappy.
I believe it is a mistake to invest on them and keep suffering so much.
Some of them, like Molinaro, Legro, Grosso and Motta should not our transfers.
IMO, we should make other sacrifices to replace them, i ve been saying this for years and we have been suffering from this for years.
I never saw anyone for giving any credit for being right when we have sold Moli and significantly upgraded our defense.
Neither in many other similar cases, but i dont mind/bother, my aim of criticism is not to boast, but to improve Juve.
I was sad to see Juve suffering because of stupid nationalism reasons.
I was jubilant to see us signing Licht even Caceres and Lucio, because this marks the end of the ItalJuve project.
You are the one who is keep provoking me, using my post as a signature, avoid on the topic arguments and bring in personal insults.
For every one insult you will find in my post, i can find 10 in your posts.
And unlike mine, yours are agressive, whilst i only defend my self.
Its easy to stay back and launch personal insults, braindead animated gifs, one liners that lack any content etc.
Whats hard is to be a man and stand up for your opinion, bring some constructive arguments.
I never said that i am the Pope, i just have my opinion and i am presenting it with arguments and thats why i am here, to see and interact with other ppl;s arguments, thats what i hope for.
But unfortunately instead of arguments, i mostly see one liners without any content.
Some times, having an opinion is considered an insult in here.
Deneb for ex, if he sees an opinion different than his, he attacks it with personal insults, without bothering to mention why...
No arguments, not even merely the reason he got angry with the poster who dared to post his opinions with arguments, just a plain attack on the poster.
Is this forum owned my some sort of dictatorism that denies to anyone having an opinion?
Are there any rules of what kind of opinion one has the reason to have and talk about?
According to the forum rules there arent. But whe then some of the members are prosecuted when they bear some??
IMO it should be considered when you attack the forumer and not his argument.
The attampt to defame the poster, is mostly used when the attackers cannot confront his argument.
So in my opinion, such an attack automatically confirms that the arguments is bulletproof and victim has won the argument...
I have been massed attacked countless times for making, what i believed to be a logical and objective observation, that if we keep on like that, we wont be competitive (rank bellow the top 2) neither win more than a championship in the next 10 years, if we dont change strategy.
Me and 3-4 other posters against the whole freakin forum.
Why should i be attacked for having an opinion, why should i be called a pessimist, since this was the realistic approach?
When the AA took over he have confirmed the very arguments i have being made for all those years.
The new coaches have been confirming the mistakes i criticised on the previous ones, the new transfer director confirmed the mistakes i critised on the previous one.
This what i mean when i say that history have proved me correct.
That and the fact that unlike most the youngers forumers, i have more experiences from our history in the past, i care more about managerial decision, than most of the casual fans and therefore i watched the developent with a closer eye, allowing me to make a more precise prediction (not psyhic power)
and finally the fact that in many of my arguments, i m worried about the future ahead, not just the coming season.
The plethora of arguments and the fact that they have been confirmed so many times, again and again.
Has lead some of the forumers to hate me, i dont know if it is just jealousy or any other stupid reason and frankly i dont care.
But i will not make the favor to stop making my predictions and assements only because of that, as long as this is an open forum, i will keep presenting my opinion and my arguments.
My intention is not boasting, popularity contests and all the other stuff that might interest some, they can have them for all i care for...
My intention is that there will be a place clean of the popularity BS, when a Juventino could bring up an argument and talk about, without having to face trolls of haters.
If you dont like my posts, feel free to ignore them, most of my posts you have quoted were not adressed to you and contained arguments you have completely ignored.
If you have a different opinion, feel free to discuss it, i honestly i ll keep no harsh feelings and will discuss it with you civilised.
If you dont have the patience to enter in a debate with me, make your self and the forum a fover and ignore me.
And not just you, who ever considers my posts too long/boring/repetitive/pessimistic or whatever, just ignore them!
You are not obliged to read them, this is a free forum!
Like you can post your arguments without having to think what whould i say about them, the same rule applies to me too.
Dont take everything personally.
Some forumers may enjoy reading a well structured long post, that present a point of view in great detail, with the help of arguments and facts, you might be aware of and him not.
I take my take to write for them, without any disrespect for you, than you dont care about my posts.
I wish there was a way to make my posts invisible to you, if they bother you that much... and until Martin adds such an option, feel free to add me in your ignore list. This will work for the best of all of us!
