why can't italian coaches handle transfer like in england? is it some traditional thing or simply incompetence?
The theory is that it can bring greater continuity.

The DS can have a plan and buy players and then appoint an appropriate coach.

If that coach fails, another one can be chosen who should be able to work with the squad assembled.

The British system can lead to a manager building a squad that only he coul want and then a new manger is going to want to come in and completely change the squad, leading to greater upheaval.

That's the theory, I think. Obviously both systems have good and bad points.

You're high off the win so I'll let this pass.

Bottom line is that he still needs to bring in a few more cogs to complete the machine. They don't have to be 5-star players but we do need a guy up top who makes our opponents gameplan around shutting him down.

His final test will come this mercato.

If he is able to score us a top quality world class striker and clean the garbage (ahem borri) from the team... then we will be set for a great adventure in europe.

I have to accept that we were kind of delusional in wanting to bring aguero and the other wolrd beaters here this past mercato..... but now we have the stadium and our team is shinning like a shooting star.

The cards are on the table..... now marotta has what is needed to bring the agueros.

Lets see how he performs.

Swap Ibra between the teams and you wouldn't say that, so the distance is not big. We know we need a 'game changer', but we have a strong and deep squad.
In terms of the attack I rate Milan's over ours hugely. Robinho, Boateng, Ibra even Pato are all better than what we got going on.

There's no doubt that bilan's attack is way better than ours, especially with Ibra. However, the rest of our team defecates over the rest of theirs. CB is fairly close though.

All this Marotta bashing is gone too far, he is guilty for everything bad that happens at Juve, and for everything good that happens it's because of Conte. The same Conte that many considered selfish for taking Juve job etc...
