Even if we decide to a fee they will just do, what we did with Aquilani, they just wont buy him and we will have to compromise further more.

Its unacceptable, this year Marotta has confirmed what it wasnt very clear for the most of you last year...
If it's an "option to buy"-clause, then yes, we might get fucked by Gala, but you can pretty much agree to whatever you want in the European law of contracts, so if it's true what Melo posted, that we're dealing with an obligation in this case, then Gala will have to pay for him next summer. Unless some extraordinary "force majeure"-type events (or "hardship" as they are called in UK/US) hit them so hard they won't be able to, of course, but that won't happen to a club of that stature. And "we don't have money" is no excuse in the law of contracts, if one is dealing with obligations to perform. Money is considered a generic performance which is "fungible", meaning always capable of substitution. There's really no excuse in European law when it comes to not having money, if you're a professional (commercial) party.

So think of it this way... If it's like Melo said and Gala is obliged to purchase him next summer, then Gala will simply have been granted a postponement with their performance (payment) until that time. If we're dealing with an obligation here, then payment will come. Pacta sunt servanda!

I'm pretty sure we had an "obligation" to sign Motta and Pepe as well.

If we do set up the deal whereby they get Melo on "loan" for 2 mill and they obligated to buy him for whatever amount (most likely 8 mill imo), I don't think it's that bad of a deal at all TBH.

Mate, the official numbers are: 1,5m for the loan and option to buy of 13m. So if they buy him, it'll be 14,5m in total, which is not that bad, I guess..

They are obliged to buy him, it's in the contract.
Sorry to disappoint you but there's no obligation as I watched him come to Galatasaray's camp and our director spoke about his deal.

If we want, we will offer 13 millions and get him but if we don't want to buy him, it's just one year loan.
