Well we asked for Secco's head because of his misjudgements in buying why not Marotta's?
We could've kept Giovinco, signed Scheletto for our LW. Wouldnt cost 22M. It surely wouldnt have resulted in conceding less goals since we have one of the poorest defence in serie A

edit: I dont mean this to offend you JuveJay but whats up with the Marotta loving? I mean I like him as a SD but he's untouchable when it comes to you. Is it something I'm not seeing?

Bring Gio back, keep Pepe for backup and we have 3 amazing mids in Aqui, Melo, and Marchisio. We don't even need a fucking back up for sissoko when we sell him and if we need a fourth then bring back Luca marrone.

A cheap great solution for LM is Giovinco...admit it people, we could have our team fixed so easily.

1.) Giovinco
2.) Cassano

Would have cost under 6m easily.

Giovinco can't play wide in Delneri's current 4-4-2.

Did he not play LM under Ranieri and do well there? How do you know unless you try it consistently?

Zambrotta used to play midfielder on the right then went as one of the best LBs of our time(@ Juve)...I see no reason why considering we have tried Pepe as an outside back, Sorensen on bred CB as a RB and has done well.

What is it about people here sticking to the same damn status quo?

Krasic offers us nothing defensively. He doesn't offer us more than Gio would on the outside going back other than size.

I get Gio isn't a pure LM but if you play him there and has a good LB behind him to support him with Melo/Aqui as defensive and support outlets with a good striker to get on the end of his magic, why on earth couldn't he succeed as a LM in DN's 442?

Tactics can change, that's why they are tactics. It would not take turning water into wine by DN to integrate Gio as a LM into this team.

4-3-3 giovinco on left krasic on right and toni or iaqunita in middle that would result in some goals... our center foward would get a lot of balls into that middle...

honestly, it sounds so easy to say but who knows what goes through DN's mind.

433 with giovinco and krasic and our current fullbacks :howler: would be most easiest team to play against fullbacks that cant defend and winger that don't do defense
