thats why he said they are just rumours.
As Andy said, he didn't say that he won't be sold. The rumors bit was regarding that there is no concrete offer about him going to Germany, but apparently we are still willing to listen to offers for Diego.

Marotta is leaving the situation as open as possible. If Marotta thinks he received a decent offer for Diego, I think we'll sell him.

That "what's best for Juve" part pretty much means anything can happen.
It actually sounds like an excuse to sell Diego .

After Moggi wrote in Tuttomercato that we need to strengthen defence and midfield Marotta is saying the same??? Just call Moggi Agnelli and ask him what to do.

I saw both matches yesterday on Al Jazeera sport. Awful match against Inter. They had full controll.

Moggi said that we should sell Diego, does this mean that Marotta will now really sell him?

Maybe? But there are many ways to sell and swap players. Did'nt Diego have a great pre-season last year too?

Moggi also said Martinez and Pepe are not good enough. I have to agree. So what have we done to strengthen Juve? Last year Nedved quit and now Camoranesi. Two players who where great for us for years. Who will replace them??

Marotta considering Diego bids Saturday 14 August, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus “are still in a delicate phase of the transfer market” and are considering bids for Diego, said director general Beppe Marotta.

“We are still in a delicate phase of the transfer market, so we must make the most of the opportunities that are presented to us,” said Marotta.

“At the moment I can only say that we will do everything we can to improve the quality of the squad and try to give Coach Gigi Del Neri the best possible players.”

It is rumoured that Diego already has a deal to join Wolfsburg after just one season in Serie A.

“This is just transfer gossip. We have noted the interest of some clubs for him, just as there is interest in other players we have in our squad, but we are carefully evaluating everything.

“For now there aren’t the conditions for a move, or at least they are not concrete. We will evaluate over time and above all take into consideration what is best for Juve.”

Both del neri and Marotta are pretty weird. They say that Diego is great and he's an important part of the team yet they're willing to listen to offers, WTF is that !!

I mean you either want him or don't, can't understand these two.....
