So question: Let's say he never promised a top player. Would everyone be happy if things were as they were now, with Marotta...without the promises?

Also, if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to see it fall, does it make a noise?
either you acknowledge you failed and shut the hell up or at the very least offer a 'workaround', but trying to pull a galliani by saying we have the best attack is just infuriating.

now assuming he never said that, his job is to "strengthen" the team and give the coach the necessary tools to get the job done. If he cant do it then we need to look elsewhere.

I've said it many times that I would not have a big problem with him if he simply kept his mouth shut and did his job. He thinks he's trolling the media and other clubs but in reality he just makes a fool out of himself.

He should have shut the fuck up, he knew he was close to Aguero and he knew he fucked that deal up. Don't say "soon" when asked about a target, dont smile when saying it and then fucking get us boriello or bendtner gift wrapped.

Dont claim we have the best attack, dont compare us to the rest of italy and try to win sympathy.

If he had kept quiet all he would have done was not let us know he fucked up the Aguero and possibly Dzeko deals, shutting up would have helped.
