I would've waited on Marrotta's extension. He has clearly built a squad and created it's core, but from hereon in, summer after summer, assuming we are not dragged into artificial scandals, Juve is going to need two or three quality reinforcements, of the calibre that he has consistently struggled to procure for the team. We shouldve waited to see how Jan panned out before deciding if he was what we needed for the time ahead. I'm not convinced of his capabilities on that front yet.

we need one, a quality striker, not sure which 2/3 you are referring to.

Caceres and Isla never play there. Vidal did with Chile but only because of injuries and he was far from being great out there.

But yes, I do think LW spot is well covered at the moment with Asamoah, De Ceglie and Giaccherini. Not many people mention it but I think De Ceglie was pretty decent last season. He did mature and looks like a well balanced player IMO. I did not expect Asamoah to be played there, on his spot, but he did show he's quality even when he's played out of position. I'm not a huge fan of Giaccherini but for a back up I think he's good.

So yeah, I kinda agree with Ahmed here, we need one quality striker at this point.

Is that all we are going to need till the time his new contract runs through? The last time I checked we've needed a quality CF for the last three years since Trez's departure. And the LB/LwB hasn't been filled suitably since Balzaretti's departure. Next year you can bet your ass we're going to need a quality CB too.

Completely agree. Our LW/LWB side is good. Our RW/RWB is great. We're just missing a top striker now.
