That's me but I go out for a run when I see one of these Cronios posts, too long a 10k run is more fun. Actually I have Cronios to thank for my form in running at the moment, he surely is one hell of a motivation.

A dedication thread would be appropriate as thanks.

So many logical arguments as to why Marotta was unable to capture the striker we need. And then we have those of the upmost piety who believe that Bendtner has the potential and may actually be the player we wanted but just never knew. Because only the incarnation of the lord himself as Marotta could know that. I hope The Society is right otherwise they should really just shut the fuck up and do the whole mass suicide bit like cults usually do.

11 mil to repair the mistake he did with Giovinco
I object to the idea that sending Giovinco away was a mistake.

I very much doubt Giovinco would ever have got to the level he is at now if he hadn't been sent away.

Spending about 8m (11m less the fee Parma paid for the co-ownership) doesn't seem to be particularly unreasonable to turn a kid - who had only shown flashes of potential - into one of the best forwards in Serie A (by last season's stats, anyway).

I love how eloquent that was

Wow. Bendtner is underwhelming - to say the least - but I personally still wouldn't have wanted Pazzini for 12M - or maybe more. (7M + Cassano, right? Who was probably valued around 5M?).

Would much rather save that money for a prolific game changer next summer, especially considering the aggregate formula for FFP. Really doubt Pazzini would make the difference in Europe, and our second highest scoring offense did add Giovinco (Asamoah and Isla will facilitate the offense as well, I suppose). We're good enough up front for the league, IMO.

Feel like there's some knee jerking going on after his trick last weekend. Guy started his Inter career with a huge game as well...

To call passing on Pazzini a "major mistake" is just silly to me. The mistake is effectively having 12-24 months to scout forwards (depending on how you look at the situation), and then not prioritizing the purchase. That, and name dropping the Cavani's, Dzeko's, etc., when the club apparently can't spend that type of money on a striker. That's just stupid, and it's obviously going to create unrest amongst the fans.

Ya think good ol' Beppe can pull it off? You never know with that unpredictable striker market.
Buying Immobile back might be difficult if Genoa are reluctant to sell, since co-ownership deals usually are two years deals. He'll have to overpay for his half, in any case.

You already know that I don't want a "top striker", I want Ciro back.
