It sounds too good to be true..

Regardless of whether it actually happens or not, in Italy we have the brightest future without a doubt.

but if it didn't work and clubs found a way around, UEFA should find something else to do, football is really getting rediculous, nothing more than businessmen and stupid selfish rich Arabs with nothing useful to do in life

It seems all the big teams will get screwed except for us, Real and Arsenal
highly unlikely, Uefa is ready to make exceptions, esp for the biggest teams.
I, for one, is interested in economy and in the financial situation of Serie A teams.

We just cleared our 50 M debts with the influx of money from Exor earlier this summer and with the profits we will make with the new stadium, our financial future couldn't be more positive.

Whereas both Milan teams have considerable debts(more than 100M) Berlusconi recently lost 560 M euros in a law suit while Moratti's oil company has been severely hit by the recession.

Both teams pay tens of millions every year to the Milan city council in order to rent the San Siro. Inter wants to build a new stadium but the city council refuses to sell them some land for less than a few hundred millions. Milan can't buy the property of the San Siro before Inter moves out so as long as the city council fucks them, they are both losing several millions every year. We will make much more profits every season with our 41K stadium than both Milan teams(with 55-60k attendances) because we won't have to pay tens of millions in rent to city councils. The new law on stadiums which will probably pass at parliament by the end of the year will enable Inter to build a new stadium but even then, it would take them 3-4 years.

Our future looks promising, even more if we qualify for the Champions League.

Check our revenues for 2009-10. Our figures are almost identical to Milan's and Inter's. We were in the CL that year, it must be said. Now, with the new stadium, we will make much more money than them(CL would help though).

its good for us to have a healthy economy, this allowed to have some income in the ages the Agnelli were not helping the club financially.
But we also had very very competent managers, in triade, that was able to make an optimal use of those funds.
This is not the case anymore and it will never be as the Agnelli boys are in charge and hire the clowns they do.

And those teams had those debts for ages, Real had even more debts, but it never stopped to buy the ZZs, just like Milan afforts to give double salaries than we do.
Those club having a double stadium than ours, can sell double tickets/match, earn more money from TV rights, attract more sponsors, because they are competitive, they are competing for smth and they have WC players.
We only aim at the ultra nationalists who want to see a mid table provincial team, former pride of Italy, former competitive...
At this point, with our steady decline, we are becoming a smaller club by the minute. Being disappeared from the international scene for so long and as it seems, we will extend this sabbatical with this coach, no serious sponsor would be attracted to shine on our disgraced jersey.

This is not FM, there more and far more important things, (political influence is one among them) that the tickets and anyways, our tiny stadium can only sell half of what the big teams can.
And at any case, the debts never stopped the great Milan clubs to spend big and buy champions when this was needed, Milan had the same debts a season ago, but they could buy the champions to win a champion and hit Inter when they were over saturated by titles...
We are 3-4 classes above them atm
have you tried drugs? there are pills for your condition
i guess thats better than being in your conditions, were there is any solution...
Udinese and Napoli also looking healthy
like they have any changes to win smth, or even keep their star player when they drop off CL...
the real world is far too corrupted and complex for this to make any kind of difference, but at least Napoli has a strong influence on the background and gets a good amount of favor, in Italy at least...

Clubs won't get affected by this rule, club owners are one of the richest businessmen around who've invested millions on their clubs already. They've got armies of lawyers and accountants that will find loopholes in that rule (some like city already did).

Anyone thinks otherwise is pretty much naive. It's that simple.

Lucky for us Marotta only has 10 months left on his contract.
I wonder what they'll do if we don't get to the CL and finish for example 5th? In two seasons the man spent over 100 million and finished 7th and 5th, surely they would have to fire him at that point?
