I, for one, is interested in economy and in the financial situation of Serie A teams.
We just cleared our 50 M debts with the influx of money from Exor earlier this summer and with the profits we will make with the new stadium, our financial future couldn't be more positive.
Whereas both Milan teams have considerable debts(more than 100M) Berlusconi recently lost 560 M euros in a law suit while Moratti's oil company has been severely hit by the recession.
Both teams pay tens of millions every year to the Milan city council in order to rent the San Siro. Inter wants to build a new stadium but the city council refuses to sell them some land for less than a few hundred millions. Milan can't buy the property of the San Siro before Inter moves out so as long as the city council fucks them, they are both losing several millions every year. We will make much more profits every season with our 41K stadium than both Milan teams(with 55-60k attendances) because we won't have to pay tens of millions in rent to city councils. The new law on stadiums which will probably pass at parliament by the end of the year will enable Inter to build a new stadium but even then, it would take them 3-4 years.
Our future looks promising, even more if we qualify for the Champions League.
Check our revenues for 2009-10. Our figures are almost identical to Milan's and Inter's. We were in the CL that year, it must be said. Now, with the new stadium, we will make much more money than them(CL would help though).
