Agree. All of Italy has this mentality. We were laughing at Roma and Napoli when they threw their players(Pjanić and Higuain in particular) under the bus but we have been equally guilty of doing that. Pogba, Vidal and co. are apparently all cunts now for wanting out. Reality is they moved for a different challenge which offers a much bigger pay. This is just modern football where money and player power dictates everything.

Management has done an excellent job in keeping the club at a competitive level on par with elite clubs but I am not the one to fall for this 'ask to leave' BS. Everyone knows it's got to do with money. Even Allegri claimed that Vidal sale was a market opportunity.

Just stop selling players for cut price deals. Maximize the profits.

Not far from the truth, tho i'd rephrase it a bit and say that we took the opportunity of making a profit out of a troubled player without having to apparently downgrade our midfield. Tho IMO that at the time Sturaro was showing great potential joining for the cheap just 6 months prior to Vidal's summer sale and in that same summer we took Khedira for free aswell, arguably both were cheap alternatives to banking in on Vidal.
