Well we were unbeaten not enjoying a winning streak. I dont know the financial situation but Marotta should answer to these recent problems not by signing Toni and bitching about Sissoko in the media and the players that seem close to us like Barzagli, Floro Flores or Maccarone aren't making it better either.

But this thread is quiet when these mediocre players are not losing for 17 games running?
Am not saying lets fire Marotta and Del neri asses right now cause that move won't fix anything IMO, but our results aren't all that impressive so far. Yes we had a 17 games unbeaten record before the parma game but we had drawn waaay too many games up until now.

We were knocked out from Europa's league group stage in the hands of clubs that hardly anyone heard of (except city).

clinching a champions league spot is all what I'd hope for but things doesn't look too promising right now.

free agents in summer 2011 will be:
Bosingwa, Pienaar, Rakitic, Barzagli, Camoranesi :toast:, Mamadou Diarra, Taye Taiwo, Pirlo (lol), Mexes, Ziegler
thats enough and we can sign anyone from that list for fix price or free in the summer, WORK MAROTTAAAAAAAAA

A) None of those players are worth a dime anymore

B) I'd be surprised if he signed 3 players of actual worth that pan out to be good for us.

His Sampside was very impresive however.

Pazzini
Cassano
Poli - Palombo
Ziegler
Curci/Storari

all good players that were brought in by him?
Meh

Those players are overrated at best

Yes, Secco was the biggest problem, he basically blew our budget.

But then at the time many praised him for signing 'quality' and for large fees that made us look like we meant business.

Delneri and Marotta are picking up the pieces left from the previous reign, and a small budget means less quality.
