Yes, Secco was the biggest problem, he basically blew our budget.

But then at the time many praised him for signing 'quality' and for large fees that made us look like we meant business.

Delneri and Marotta are picking up the pieces left from the previous reign, and a small budget means less quality.
But then again you don’t repair an engine with more broken parts

I’m not asking for super signings, I’m asking for rebuilding with intelligence. Not let our top goal scorer walk away leaving us even more inept at attack. Address the backline issues, evaluate talent wisely.

Is any of that too much to ask for?

Lanzafame - this dude was a practical joke - already gone

Motta - not a footballer or any other type of sportsmen for that matter - needs to get out of the Elvis haircut - will be gone soon.

Pepe - bench player at Udinese - we love him for his ineffective "hardwork"

Toni - Genoa wanted to pay someone to get rid of him

Martinez - is he really worth 12m? We may never know (transfers like this show the lack of steel Moratta has in negotiations - plus the Wolfsburg debacles > Diego cheap, No Dzeko)

Trezeguet - why would you axe him? He knows how to finish

Great transfers!

I bet he'll bring in many more dead-wood Italians.

Pepe was not a bench player at Udinese. And he has been decent with us so far this season, he has scored 3 goals already....more than Amauri and same as Iaquinta.

Martinez has barely played, so I think we can all reserve the ill-informed baseless rants on him until he plays regularly.

Motta and Rinaudo will be fucked off back to Udinese/Napoli at seasons end.

I was not against Diego's sale at all, he didnt fit in with our teams plans, but Im a bit pissed that we couldnt sell him for a higher price.

No doubt there was mistakes made by our DG, but Marotta has only been in the job for 7 months, and I'd say a good 50% of his job so far has been to alleviate and try to remedy the many fuck ups made by the previous Secco/Blanc reign of terror which polluted this club for 4 years before he was here.

After sales, we only spent 23m this past summer. Pepe, Aquilani, etc are not our players yet until we exercise the option to sign them. If all our loaned players are signed, the only transfers I see us making next summer are free transfers, unless we sell some players.
