Wrong, tevez said, in February, to beppe that he was leaving...
Thanks, but it doesn't matter to the point I was making.

I've answered that.
No, you just typed jibberish.

Klinn is like a guy you hand a manual, on how to change a tire. He'll pretend to read it and then trows it on the ground and starts shouting "HOW DO I CHANGR A TIRE". Like a rampaging toddler.

I said, we planned to sell llorente. We couldnt do that so we change our plan. I specifically said "feel free to debate wether the failure to sell is his fault".

Then he posts that thing. Its best to have some patience with Klin today it seems.
Seriously, you truly are an ignorant piece of shit Zach. You didn't even understand why am I blaming Beppe, you dolt.

Funny thing is that those who are still defending the Zaza situation fail intentionally to mention anything related on the message we are sending to the young players out there.

@Klin I would have thought you were fluent, darling... Isn't that what you Maltese dream-birds speak, "jibberish"? :p

I don't even get this, and I'm usually a big Beppe defender. But this whole Zaza situation is 100% retarded. There's simply no good reason for it, nor defense of it.

I don't understand the relationship between Zaza and Berardi. Someone explain.
There is no relationship with Zaza and Berardi , except for few delusional posters who claims to have the magic ball and knows what Marotta gonna do next summer.
For now, there's nothing sort off, and Zaza was just a mistake.

This whole Zaza-Llorente situation has been handled very poorly without doubt.
Committing €18m of this yr's budget and loaning him out is absolutely bizarre while failing to offload Llorente at the same time.
Don't care how much Sassuolo paid us last yr for him but we are technically using €18m of this years budget not last yr.
There might be some truth to the Berardi clause though but it's not yet a proven fact.I mean it sounds believeable to some extent.

Okay but what is the theory they are proposing.

Now what happens? We ASSUME that Llorente would receive an offer that he actually accepts, and we went full retard with Zaza, ending up with 6 strikers. How the $#@! is it not our fault that we're in this situation?
so you again ignore that the Zaza transfer was agreed last summer and that we would have bought him anyway because of that?

but hey, we should have found a new club for Llorente last summer, before agreeing to buy Zaza :howler:. keep it up Klinsy boy

Zach thinks we only bought Zaza and paid so much for him because we will get a discount on Berardi i think. i dont agree with him, but we'll have to wait and see what we will pay for Berardi next summer to know if hes correct or not

Why are you making it sound as if we had no say in agreeing to get Zaza in the first place?

So we over-paid on Zaza to get a discount on Berardi. Why didn't we just pay the market value price for each (less than what we paid for zaza) and a bit more on berrardi. Why make this weird kind of deal if it will balance out in the end?

Also how would we know that we got a discount on Berardi? Unless marotta comes out explicitly and says we got a discount because of the Zaza deal there is no way to tell whether we over-paid or under-paid.

we had, im not making it sound like that. you on the other hand are making it sound as if we bought Mandzukic and after that Beppe was like "oh look, we have 18M, lets buy Zaza", when it clearly was a deal agreed way before

if we pay less than 20M i guess he was right then. i dont know why we didnt do it like you said, id have to see what happens with Berardi 1st to give you an answer

Remember when we sold Giovinco's half to Parma for 3 mil just to buy him back for 11 mil the next season !

Zaza is not the first guy that we do such a deal with. Marotta got a history with these absolutely weird/stupid (call it whatever you want) deals. I'm not even touching the Martinez situation (a guy who we paid 13 mil for and barely ever played here or even seen since)

Truth is, Marotta got completely lost after selling Vidal. Shouldn't have sold the guy. It transformed the preseason in a mess.

Also yes, regardless of when, his decision of signing Zaza for 18M is stupid at any circumstances.

Look how lost he looks now. No plan at all, pure improvising.

The Giovinco situation is always exaggerated. We loaned him in 2011 with a fixed option to buy for €3m. At the time he was a kid talent who was heading in the wrong direction. First season with Juve he had 2+6 goals and assists, second season he had 1+1, so 3+7 in 2000+ minutes. Mediocre. He had to go on loan somewhere, and was worth €6-7m tops just based on potential. At this point who else wanted him? Only Parma stepped forward from Serie A, he nearly ended up in B.

There he had a good season with Parma in the provinces (7+6) so they exercise their option for €3m. A second great season there (15+13) - like many players at small teams who failed at big teams - has by now increased his value a lot, and we pay €11m to buy back the other half. For that type of player with 22+19 in 5350 minutes a valuation of around €18m was about right. We paid a bit more because Parma knew they could get more, we had an outgoing Del Piero, and we would only have to pay for half of the card.

You make it sound as if Giovinco's valuation should be constant throughout, when that is never the case in football. What is he worth now at Toronto? More than the guy who kicked his heels on our bench last year.
