Everyday I wake up and hope we have made a move for some great AM that we haven't thought of and was part of Marotta's master plan all along when selling Vidal.

But it seems each day we are frantically looking for any half decent player and that we didn't really think it through before selling Vidal.

Hopefully Marotta still has something up his sleeve, otherwise he has had one awful summer...

Are you surprised ?

I remember during Moggi's days, the summer merkato was an exciting time (pretty sure anyone who was around that period would agree). We go into the summer never knowing who we will sign, he'd sign players without all the fuzz and that's it we're set to start the season.

I believe Marotta and Paratici are great at spotting promising players (Pogba, Varretti...) but when it comes to closing deals (whether in buying or selling players) that's when they struggle. Negotiating deals is a tough skill not everyone can master it.

During Moggi's days people had dial-up internet, far less social media, no transfer 'gurus', and half of the members here were about 10 years old.

I know the Vidal sale gets tied in with the search for an AM or 'replacement' but we won't be treating it as such, the club have already shown that. We aren't going to do 'a De Gea' with Vidal, that doesn't benefit anybody.

whatever happens tho' another issue building up is that the league starts in a week and he needs to sign a treq who will have time to integrate with the team.

dude should be all over Isco right now. after all the failures and the vidal sale, an opportunity has presented itself and he needs to take it.
Offer them 35m+Llorente.

The danger of De Gea was there with Tevez, not Vidal
Impossible to know. I'll just read his words since joining Bayern and speculate that he was quite keen to move there.

As I said before, if a player is not concentrated on Juventus they can leave, that goes for every player legend or rookie from number 1 to 40.
