How many times do i have to repeat that it isnt september 2nd ? we arent even halfway the official mercato.

And stop twisting facts. Marotta didnt fail on Götze. Fee and wages were agreed, but player has to decide. Not Marotta's fault if he suddenly backtracks and stays.
usually when clubs sell their best player they haven an adequate replacement

Marotta really has a big challenge ahead of him this mercato. It'll be interesting to see what he can do. He deserves the benefit of doubt for the amazing results he's brought to the club in recent years.

Magic conch.

Oh come on, we had every reason to believe that back then, and it would've been brilliant.
Yep, but Beppe had other ideas of course.

And some here hounded me when I said that Marotta misses high profile signings. Like zach and zizinho.

Failed in his targets 2 weeks I n a row.

But look at the excuses now from the people that were excited. "Oh he isn't that good." "Oh he is not worth that much" " oh he is not the real target"

:howler:
Look at the reactions. All of a sudden Draxler is a nobody and would not be missed if we fail to sign him. He's not worth more than 20M.

Him alone ?

It's the hard work of the top management (Andrea Agnelli) all the way to our reserve players all together. Marotta is just one part of that success.

But when it comes to buying or selling players its actually "his job" to do well there.

In all fairness, he's done quite a good job assembling the team of last season. I'm definitely not with the camp that says he's beyond criticism and refuse to acknowledge he's done or is doing anything wrong, but it would also be unfair not to say that so far he's done an extremely good job with the resources he's worked with.

And nobody except a few dolts like Cronios is saying otherwise.

Tarek Khatib‏@ADP1113Marotta "Draxler or Gotze? There could also be others, we're calm.

Tarek Khatib‏@ADP1113Marotta "There is no hurry to come to a conclusion knowing that there still is a month left till the end of the mercato."

And that's how it should be.Calma guys, it's not even August.

Not to forget Paraticci who we own some perfect transfers and all the glory goes to Marotta.
