We heard nothing and then boom, sold to Bayern. Why is Vidal so special that he can go to which club he chooses? Because most players are basically up for auction.

Since when is disagreeing with something a hissyfit?

As I said, why is Vidal so special that he can go to the club he wants?

Unless of course we Gotze, then it will make sense.
And I agree with you, James. There should have been an auction. Fuck, if there was an auction for Ogbonna, and there is now a bidding war for Llorente, why wouldn't there be one for Vidal? Why would Juve appear to be so desperate to take the first bid that comes along? There are only two things that I can think of.

There were no other suitors for him, or the stories of his contract agreement with Bayern were in fact true. Sure, you could try to hold an auction for him, but what would the purpose of it be if he has already agreed to a contract with them, and then you would have to try to convince him to go somewhere else?

I have serious doubts that no EPL teams were really interested in him. Just because he accepted an offer from Bayern doesn't necessarily mean he wouldn't accept an offer anywhere else. I'm sure some EPL team or even PSG etc. could offer more than Bayern for wages.

It's funny how 99.999% of the people are qualified to manage a club and its players, and ironically the 0.001% of the people who are actually managing football clubs are the only people who aren't qualified.
Nobody claims they would do a better job, otherwise theyd be doing it.

But over time following a sport its not that far fetched to form an opinion, though not 100% accurate, or simply speculate for the sake of it. Moggi was also a qulified DS (no pun) at the time he gave in to a certain chilean wishes ( if that is the case here) and you know the rest.

I'd love the outcome of this transfer be different one way or another in coming days, but as of know what Bayerns are doing is a textbook move taken out of Beppe's transfer guide app @Dai_Devil
Agreement with the player before hand and confidently going into talks or rather talking us into this deal.

Do you really honestly think that Juve, THIS Juve, with their attention to detail in regards to budget and economic solidity

You've seen how this business model operates with this club.
oh yes we have. like buying an injured long term isla for 18m.

oh yes. the don't make any mistakes whatsoever.

Why are you supporting Juventus and not some other club, if we should behave exactly like them? We're doing it better, with more class and more style than any of the other clubs could dream of. Vidal gave us 4 of his best years and it didn't work anymore (for reasons that we will find out soon enough). If he wants to go to Bayern and Bayern are offering the sum they are, why wouldn't we let the player go? Keeping players against their will could easily damage ou reputation, which quite frankly is splendid at the moment, with other potential transfer targets.
more class and style? splendid reputation? like keeping a manager that is convicted of match fixing? or how about telling the club captain and greatest player to fuck off?

It would have been fairly hypocritical of Juve to sack Conte on the basis of match fixing.

Can he negotiate with Bayern without Juventus' permission? Thought you couldn't do that unless the exisiting contract was less than six months.

He was convicted? Guess I missed that. I also missed that we told Ale to fuck off.

Weak sauce, Loin.

They can call his agent and agree it verbally. It's against the rules but quite common.

oh yeah, telling del piero that he is not getting a contract but signing anelka instead.

bro....
They took away his potential twentieth year here. 20. Not many people get to play for 20 years at 1 club, but they kicked him out.

Even madrid where more cordial to Raul when he left madrid then juve to ale.

Maybe Del Piero didn't deserve to be a 5th choice striker?
Same as Pirlo said, he knew he wouldn't be a protagonist anymore and decided to leave.
LooooooooooooooL the man was down to sign a blank contract!!!!

He sat down 3/4 of his last season and saved our season on his last run by scoring on almost if not all of our "rivals" :touched:

Could it be that Anelka didn't want any minutes on the pitch while Del Piero wanted some sort of guarantee that he would see pitch time? I remember him being unsatisfied with the minutes he got in Conte's first season too.
