If we do end up with Götze and Alex Sandro I would say the level of our team is actually slightly higher, but I'd be worried about the loss of key experience and grinta that those outgoing players had.
Experience is key, I will give you that. But two of the players we signed have experience in spades.

Grinta? It can be said that Mandzukic has as much grinta as Carlitos.

And in the end, talent usually wins out, and to be successful in Europe, I would rather have more talent on my squad than grinta

Those 3 were a huge part of our core for years, it's probably going to take a while for the squad to get gelled in the new way
people wanted Pirlo benched all the time last season, now the same people (not talking about you here specifically, but ive seen some here) are going on about what a huge loss Pirlo will be.

I wouldn't say that the level became higher but our options to tactical approaches. Experience and grinta are more important to that in my opinion. Especially for Juventus where these are mostly our fundamental characteristics.

Totally! But what is annoying that we still have to wait and see, I really don't know what we are waiting for. Even if we sign Götze and Sandro (whom I consider the most rated targets we are after) we still have dropped in quality.
If we sign those too i think we will raise the potentiel of our team even we will suffer in the first few months.

Let them. And when they come attacking, and open themselves up , they will have to deal with Dybala, Morata, Gotze/Draxler leading the break, and Pogba and Asamoah trailing behind them.

Good luck with that.

Oh, and that defense will still be there, as well as Gigi.
Maybe, but teams like Napoli, Inter, Roma....know that we are weaker than last, they would smell blood and will be motivated, but u never know, we said the same thing after Conte leaving last year but look how things turned out. Still i think it's more of player's game.

:agree:
Can't the same about Khedira, but we really don't know how good Dybala is yet. You also forgot to mention Mandzukic.
Yeah like i said, this team has potential especially if we sign a couple of additionnal players but i am talking about the fear factor, the experience and how every team we played respected us so much that we ended up winning matches without putting our feet on the gaz pedal .

I like that we are building a young exciting side coupled with quality experience.

I hope Pogba is replaced properly next yr.
Why the fuck would you hope that? Come on people some of you have outright weak mentality. Yeah he might leave, but we are not Sassuolo and Pogba is not Berardi.

Not to mention if he is sold 'replaced' is the least he must be. We need to get at least 2 WC players here for the money he leaves. And I don't mean to-be WC in 2-3 years, but NOW.

what he means is if Pogba is sold he is hoping we reinvest the money wisely. Doesn't necessarily mean he wants him sold.
@The Cusp - see what happens when people twist your words? :D

So are we gonna just sell every player that asks to leave? How can we aim to be the best if we do that?
Whats the point in keeping them if they are not motivated to play with us ?

But yeah,as i said we need to act like cold-hearted businessman here in these situations.Get the best price possible.

Why would you even want to keep a player that wants out?

That's like trying to keep that disgruntled employee in the office because you don't want to face the obvious.

Well, wanting out isn't the end of the world. All good clubs/management should use that as an opportunity to correct some impressions or needs. Sometimes a player needs to see what else is out there to realize how good they have it at home before they re-up.

But showing a player the door just because they say they want out is both rash and a stunted conversation/opportunity.
