Sure, but this sort of squashes the whole "Marotta is taking the Moggi route" notion that is being purported constantly on the forum nowadays.

Nothing he said is unreasonable. Of course we need quality, but yet again it is the person, not the idea, that is attacked.
I don't know who is circulating the "Marotta is taking the Moggi route" and if you imply that what Sergio and Pado said means that then I guess you misunderstood what has been said.

But hey, what I said stands, Moggi switched a new trigger to bashing, moaning and whining and apparently it is something you enjoy, so moan along.

That's what they basically said. We are building a good base of players so that in the following years we can add a lot of quality, coming out of a few bad years like we did in the 90's. So no, I'm not misunderstanding this at all.

They said that what happened in 1994 is similar to what is happening now but that does not mean that Marotta is following Moggi's steps.

But that was the hope.
That is not my hope. I hope for Juve's best and that's about it. If the situation does not look good for me, I state what is annoying me and hope for the best, I just don't go on and on about the same fucking thing all the fucking time.

Do you see why it is called moaning, Suns? When you go on and on about the same fucking thing all the fucking time, it is called moaning, especially when you have absolutely nothing to do about it.

I don't think that anybody has a problem with reducing wage expenditure. It's the players we signed that cause the outrage, especially since we have to pay a premium for them considering they arrived from rival clubs. And another thing to consider is that if we do want to buy these loaned players, like Pepe and Qualiarella, we will have to offer them larger contracts than they already have. Just the fact that we are Juve makes their supposed value rise. So you have to look at it from all the angles.

To me, I'd rather sign a young talent and tie him down to a meager contract instead of buying a Quag who already has inflated wages for his supposed skill level, which isn't even that great.
Young talents = less chance at CL this year

True say. Even if we don't buy these loaned players in the summer we will still have to replace them which basically puts us back at square one.

Which means 11 new players will still be needed next year. Oh well, here's to hoping Del Neri can surprise us all with this group.
But they could help us get into CL. Then we'll have money and appeal.

Moggi was criticizing Juventus mercato, not moaning. I see no problem in people voicing their concerns and opinions about Juventus on a Juventus forum, cuz obviously, thats what this place is for. Let people dislike what they want and like what they want as long as they're not spamming. 95% of all the Juventus discussions on this site we have nothing to do about anyway.

Everybody moans about something they dislike, you moan about moaners, although I know you're doing it to show how annoying you think moaning can be, and Azzurri fanboys . As for me, I go on and on about the Giovinco situation, I'll admit that, but since he's not a Juventus player anymore I'm trying to keep the discussions about Giovinco's time in Parma.

The only thing he cares about is more publicity for him. Talk like "When I was there we had that, that and that. Now they can only attract that, that and that instead." He should just shut his mouth and get over with it. It's not like he doesn't have anything to do with this crisis.

And no, he doesn't care anymore for Juventus. He shouldn't as well.

Luciano Moggi Slams Juventus' Transfer Campaign As "Useless"

Luciano Moggi is not impressed with Juventus' summer signings.

Former Juventus director Luciano Moggi has been brisk in putting the downers on the club's summer transfer campaign.

La Vecchia Signora have already come under the microscope from a number of critics who raised questions on director Giuseppe Marotta's movements.

And Moggi has come up with some of his own.

"Juventus did everything they shouldn't have done to return to being competitive," he wrote in his Tuttomercatoweb.com column.

"People ask me what I would have done... nothing. The directors have acquired players who were reserves in other teams. One example is Leandro Rinaudo. It's the same with Simone Pepe.

"Juve's transfer market resembles that of a provincial team. They don't have the power to attract players like they once did. And they are a club that fails to protect players who often come under the microscope.

"They need quality. It makes no sense to buy a load of players who are useless to the project."

10000% correct !!

Moggi is spot on with his assessment.....this team has signed reserves and mediocre players from other teams, and we cant expect to win shit with the decisions MaROTa has made

We need Moggi back with us...he is just as much Juve as ADP

I wonder when will this guy shut up and realize that his opinion doesn't matter because he's unemployed and banned from football.
it doesnt matter ?? Thats why he is being PAID for his opinion, with all the interviews and tv shows that he appears on

He is banned from football and shouldnt be....if you understood what went on with this Calciopoli farce, you would agree

No it doesn't matter for Juventus what his opinion is. He can criticize as much as any other football expert out there, but what he does is only to make a good name for himself in everything Juventus does, right or wrong.
