:agree: Couldn't have said it any more truer.

And oh No , not the Conte topic again. And ffs , he has been given enough credit. He made himself look like Messiah sent to save Juventus. Compared him self with Capello and Lippi. And blames the club, for not giving into his transfer demands to bring the club further. I will reiterate this, Conte was part of the jigsaw puzzle that led to our success. The board made 25% , the players made 25%, the fan and the new stadium made 25% and the coach is 25%. No coach can claim he build Juventus, and without Conte , we would have found success eventually. Not going to discredit his work, he certainly did way better than our previous managers, but the club is bigger than anyone. Conte owes Juventus for giving him the chance to succeed as a player and a manager, same thing with Allegri.
One of the reasons for that is because when it seemed like we were sinking further even with the new management in charge (I don't like to bring up those times I think you well remember the decisions and directions the club was taking, del blax mazzari blah blah), there comes Conte and we go on to win the Scudetto, eventhough it wasn't the objective at time and that was said by practically everyone at the club, and later we distance ourselves from the rest and leave them hopeless and crushed far behind.

It's not just a typical good coach work, a good coach does what is expected of him, a great coach goes beyond that just like Allegri right now. It's evident we lack the firepower to be among the elites but yet here we are in the CL final.

completely agree with the bolded part tho, I've said that too before.

And phrase me back when Conte wins something else in his career not with Juventus. I'm hell sure that's not gonna happen. Because we had that 75% to back him up perfectly here...
I think that's mostly you hoping for it. That could be along the lines of something milan fans would of said when they sacked Allegri. You know damn well Conte is capable of winning even outside of Juve.

As for Beppe, I'll keep it simple. He's the 2nd coming of Moggi. enough said. He's proven it times and again.
I've developed a trust for him and Paratici's work over the years, I don't even frequent the transfer section that much.

this 100 euro restaurant conte with his 3-5-2 fetish and crap football? huge doubt that he can win anything.

It's amazing to consider what Beppe has done over the last years. The "starters" in the Amauri era wouldn't even be able to start for our B-team that beat Inter.

There are good and bad signings with all directors Andy. No director is infallible. If there was one, then he could name his salary and have a blank check given to him by any club that wishes to have him. It's always a combined total effort. The only exception is England, but take a look at how that has worked out for them lately. And it isn't about Conte getting his due. Hell, COnte got most, if not all of the credit for the past 3 years. It's about time that Marotta and Paratici get the credit they deserve for building a fantastic club from the ground up. And that is what this team is. It is a fantastic club, from the sporting to the business side of things, and the prospects are only looking brighter.

This season proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was never about just one man, but a collective effort.

Take a look at the team out there that beat Inter yesterday for example. A desperate, backs against the wall Inter that had just won at Lazio, which is no small feat.

1 player in the starting XI was with the club before Marotta and Paratici got here. That lineup that you see there is a testament to the 5 year project that this team has undergone.

I can't remember the last time a Juve B squad won an away match against anyone, much less a club like Inter, whom I had stated before are fighting for their European lives.

I just prefer to sit back, look at everything that has taken place in the last 5 years, and marvel at how Juve have managed to turn everything around in the past 4 seasons. It is really amazing and unprecedented when you think about it. When you think about the bold moves that were made in that first season alone, with the emotional ties to certain players that had to be cut, one by one seeing the old guard go away, and seeing a total roster upheaval in that first season alone.

There was a lot of work to be done, and Marotta knew it. I'm sure he also knew what he was getting into, making unpopular choices in the beginning. I would like to think that he probably didn't sleep very well for a couple of nights prior to and after letting Trez go.

And you know what else he is doing, Andy? Something that you and I, ever since Serie B, have been crying out for.

Pogba
Coman
Rugani
Dybala
Morata

possible Berardi and who knows what else.

He has managed to build a club that is full of champions, and yet he and Paratici are building a pipeline for the future. I mean, just let those 5, and possibly 6 names roll around in your mind for a little while and realize that Pogba is the OLDEST at 22, and think of where this club can go.

I mean there is no doubt that Juve are the envy of Italy, that much is obvious, but this is a model that I'm sure a lot of clubs, especially in England would not mind following. If I were an owner of one of those clubs, if I could reach the CL Final and NOT have to spend hundreds of millions every year, I will take it. A lot of these clubs buy stars and hope that they will fit in. Juve buy players that they know will fit in, and let them develop into prime players. If this club can somehow win the Treble, one could make the case that this would be one of the biggest turnarounds in European football history. Even if they only win the Double this year, this is still an amazing story. One that quite honestly, a lot of us were hoping for, but were realistically thinking 2 more years down the road
Damn it. I missed this, obviously, otherwise I would have responded already.

One could literally write a thesis on the state of affairs in Serie A and how Juve has more or less cemented a long run of titles to come. The idea alone, that we can get this team to a CL final WITHOUT selling is baffling and you know there are clubs probably diving head on into a case study on how we did it looking to emulate the same tactics.

It starts with a plan, a smart plan that doesn't involve some unlimited wealth a half a world away. Then the plan is put into capable hands of men that comprise the board that think logically on how to grow a brand and keep the brand growing without it fizzling out. Can we do a repeat next year? Who knows. Even if we make 60m next year versus our 100m this year it is still a good year economically. Furthermore, the Juve brand is suddenly back on the world stage again and how many fans did our fan base increase by this year? If Roma/Lazio crash out early again then better for us financially. The irony is, they suffer and as a result we benefit massively indirectly.

Sergio, we are literally experiencing a perfect storm. Think about it, we have hit near light speed while EVERYONE else is still trying to get their ship fueled. Our own stadium (that you forgot to mention) alone will basically keep us on top domestically for some time. We are well within FFP and those teams that might be our most direct threats are already breaching those rules. I mean, Roma getting knocked out was the best thing for us financially because had that NOT happened we probably wouldn't have seen a Dybala deal go through with such ease. Obviously yes, we absolutely owe Conte a MASSIVE debt of gratitude for the mentality of lions he created that walk out on that pitch looking do die for the player next to him. 3 titles and our name on everyone's fear list again is something Conte will always have on his list of achievements that Allegri won't. Allegri now takes that mentality and applies it to a more tactical mindset where not only do we outwork the other team we outsmart them tactically. A deadly combination but again that goes back to the smart plan and seeing out that plan 5 years ago.

We are close to breaking 1 billion dollars in worth. 1 friggin' billion dollars man and our stadium only holds 41k. Utilizing this amazing season to grow our brand & merchandising is a must and that's how we get up to the ManU's and Barca's in value. No one thought this season would happen and I'd be happy with another Semi-final CL run next year but damn it, this season has certainly raised to bar on expectations not only for us fans but now other clubs expecting to have to try and get passed us again. I want more Gary Neville's reactions from players when they find out they drew Juventus.

You know Barcelona wanted Real, I can almost guarantee it. They know them well and know their players. Juventus they know little about. All they know is we are an extremely stubborn team to break down with a world class midfield and in form Carlitos.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm in heaven this year.

Just read Rugani comments and wanted to come here to appreciate Beppe but i see that you have already covered that.

It's mind-blowing how we are so much ahead of other teams in Serie A. Their teams are just a big mess and it's not looking to be much better in the future. And we have a potential half of the starting eleven for the future already lined up. Hats off to Beppe. What a Messi of General Directors. :delpiero:

Yeh, this year has been phenomenal. We just cant ask for more.
Losing the CL final would be a massive heartbreak..but we are achieving unreal goals for us and everyone knows. We must use this years´s success as the final jump to go into the top tier league and stay there like we used to.

Im more than happy...and it seem there will be better times ahead.
