He gambled high on Morata.. and seems to have hit the spot. 20M for a kid who barely played for Madrid.. and the guy fits like a glove.

Also he decided not to get Immobile back.. If Immobile came back Morata wouldn't be here. And Immobile shows to be much much less talented than Morata. Not even close.

Dortmund payed roughly 20M for Immobile.

If you switch the players, we would clearly get fucked up yesterday.

Tough decisions and Marotta deserves praise for this. Also letting Gabbiadini go was probably the right thing to do. Similar level to Immobile, not good enough for us.

I was a fan of Immoble since his Pescara season and wanted him back here. The moment it was reported we're after Morata who's transfer would be made thanks to money gotten from Immobile I let it go. I always saw Morata as the better player and never complained about this move.
