I recon if Pereyra or Tevez scores, their threads will be full of love, red sperm from fapping injuries, and adoration

Meanwhile total silence here

But holy mother of shit, if we are linked to an old player, out come the pitchforms

Eighter be here all the time wether we do good or bad, or be here when we do good. The rest can fuck off to some other way to controll their tantrums

So I guess Rus is a nuke, capable of destroying every single intelligent lifeform in every thread he's unleashed one, whether friend or foe? :D
RUS is more like chemical warfare. Rakib is the tactical nuke :seven:

Not to mention that Roma haven't won anything. It's a ridicolous statement.
Yep

you do know roma has salary restrictions and can't offer whatever beppe can?

also, you do know sabatini actually made the money he spent? all of the money he spent was from players he find out of nowhere. compared to marotta who has backing from juventus.

pls don't let me bring up beppe's failure list. It is embarrassingly long.
It's not true. If he spent money he earned they wouldn't be under FFP investigation.

I don't understand why the Marotta discussion always end up in a hate/love-argument.

Why not give credit where credit's due? (Conte, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Serie A (conte-era) etc.)

And criticise when it's appropriate? (Delneri, Ferrara, ageing squad, lack of European success, Serie A? (pre-conte era), shitty signing, the last two transfer windows)

Instead the discussion ends up in soem of the least intelligent conversations on 'Tuz (which says a lot) and it's both sides that represent a certain degree of retardation.

I personally think Marotta has done a decent-good job (overall), but I'm also [very] critical of our ageing squad, lack of new starters (the last two windows have been terrible) and the general progress in Europe. And I know it's hard due to the current state of italian football but it's not impossible nor is Juventus in the worst situation in European football.

He didn't appoint Ferrara.

I agree with you in certain extent. But we have decent young players that might break through in the next few years, players like Berardi, Rugani, Sturaro, Coman and Morata most notably.

Lack of European success? This is our 3rd time in CL since he's come, 2 times we progressed out of groups. It can hardly be called as an underachivement. We'll see how this year pans out, but reaching QFs would make it a good European season imho.

You're right. My fault.

In terms of our ageing squad. Yes, we do have soem interesting names among our young ones and out on loan/co-own and I think Marotta has done a good job finding soem jewels, but I also find it frustrating the amount of attention there is on players close to or post 30.

Young talents are a big question mark and as we know most young talents do not end up as good as the hype claims. Meanwhile the next generation of players age 22-28 in the Juve squad are rather mediocre and besides Pogba I can't really see who's gonna replace our current stars.

If we really can't fight with the big boys on the transfer market (which we can't) then we should instead have strategy of getting world class threw our own ranks (italians and internationals). But we need to commit to this strategy and with players liek Buffon, Pirlo, Tevez and Barzagli we have enough experience in our team to give the chance to youngsters.

The possible Sneijder signing seems so stupid in this regard. Can't play CL, expensive wage, short term solution (if a solution), been declining for years now, is he a fit with a team with both Pirlo and Tevez playing?

Signing as an example Shaqiri for 15 mill. is a gamble. He's young, somewhat dumb and he haven't lives up to his expectations so far. But if he turns out as good as some people (not 'Tuzzers) think he'll be worth much more than 15 mill to us.
