Seriously? :sergio:

You really think Galatasaray had better players than us last season?

Do you really rate Olympiakos and Malmo higher than us?

Such a pathetic post, not surprised though.
If we got out of the group stage and lose, would you deem it as a success?

nah cant have him drop back, he needs to be where the last defender is when in possession
It won't make too much difference. On paper it's 4321 in practice it may look like 4312. The most important fact is that he'll have more support upfront while in possession as well as counter attacking.

Are we going to magically improve our weakness in offense in CL somehow without adding any new players to the starting 11?
Sure. Change of system in Europe will help us do that. Our 352 was predictable, especially in the CL which is why we couldn't even break down the most mundane teams. On paper, we had a team more than capable of competed beyond the Group. That hasn't changed. Our group this year has 2 medicore teams, the same as last season, so there are no exuse

He dropped back plenty against Chievo with Coman staying higher up. He did a lot of work outside the position you mentioned next to the last defender and did well, no?

No, I will call it a fucking failure and demand Allegri's and players heads. Seriously.

My point is that we don't need Falcao or Sanchez to pass the group.
Wait, we were talking about the mercato and solving these issues. Why bring that up?

And Falcao and Sanchez were clearly not what I was talking about. There are other cheaper options out there, we just avoided them and filled the team with more midfielders.
Well, sorta because the intention this year is to do better in the CL than last year, so getting out of the Groups would be an improvement.
Well, it is not. Especially if the same weakness in offense is still there like it has been every year since we've returned to the CL. As long as we have only one player who can create in offense(Tevez) we're always going to have the same issues. Football is about both defense and offense.

How do you know a system change might turn our "offensive weakness" into a success? We finally have a LB that can cross. Llorente will have better service and a system change might take that creative burden off players like Tevez. A system change might benefit us greatly. Time will tell.

Well, if I told you to list the best team available for a big CL clash it would be this:

Buffon
Barz - Bonucci - Chiellini
Licht - Vidal - Pirlo - Pogba - Asamoah
Tevez - Llorente

Looks familiar?

I'd say this would be as strong:
Buffon
Licht-Barzagli-Chiellini-Evra
Vidal-Pirlo-Pogba
Tevez-Coman
Llorente

Could be a 4321 or 433

Call me silly for putting so many eggs in the Coman basket, but I think he might do well. As will Pereyra.

Any of that look familiar? I can guarantee you anyone in Europe won't think so.
