I expect a big splash next summer :touched:

With a projected deep run in the CL, and Roma being eliminated in the group stage (and Napoli already out), we should have some serious CL money coming in, in addition to all those new sponsorship agreements. No more of that depth shit, unless we are going to strengthen the depth of the existing depth :shifty:

“Will Falcao come to Juve? I don’t think so. He was linked with Juventus because he appreciates us and that makes us proud, but if he does leave Monaco it’ll be for tens of millions and he’ll join a different top European club.”

Next season we should switch to 4231. Depending on how Coman, Berardi and Pereyra evolve, we should make the missing link in the offensive midfield trio our main priority.

Also the defence

If Coman reveals to be a real gem, this will really change my view of this mercato. This could another capolavoro from Marotta again.

Also I see very positive signs on Pereyra. Didn't expect him to be very good, and if he pans out this mercato's grade will really change. Romulo looks like a good signing and we still have to see Morata.

Even Allegri is looking better than I expected.

Agree. If those three have good seasons it will just leave us with Tevez to replace after his probable one more year before going back to Argentina so we should look at an understudy/replacement for him. Perhaps Coman will turn out to be our man for that role in which case we could focus on the needs at the back. We've taken a couple of gambles with this mercato but early signs are promising.

I don't think we will ever be the type of buying club we once were or the kind we all wish were were (like Real, PSG, Arsenal, Bayern). It doesn't fit our philosophy anymore.

Our youth & scouting has improved greatly allowing us to bring players like Coman/Pogba and develop like Berardi & Co. It's those budget tightening deals (along with Barzagli & Vidal) we are going to see more often along with youth. Juventus has always been a steward for the National Team, that will never change. Our motto is find them cheap or bosmans and develop as youth. Sure there is a lot of risk banking on youth development but economically it seems our board wants to grow talent and search Europe for great deals or the next "stars" which is great IMO.

Real life Football Manager. :touched:

Lastly, forgot to add this point: Developing our talent and loaning them out to other Italian teams I believe opens us up for better deal making with said clubs. We send our talented youth to help you out and you grow and your next star player we get first bid on, perhaps? Don't know, but it seems like it might be the kind of backdoor deals we don't see in the headlines that end up strengthening our team the most.

i think thats the major problem we are facing, we have very little cash to play with. so we are forced to get these silly serie a deals with little money upfront but overall bad deals
But this is the thing thats a bit different next summer, especially if we succeed in the CL this time

If you try to follow Marotta's way in Football Manager, game would delete itself in shame.
If you try to follow your way, you'd have to cheat or go bankrupt

The same board that hired Conte where most people "polled his appointment" as average or medicore and we won 3 titles in a row have some how flipped on the board because Conte wanted out.

If we go by people in the news they all claim he wanted out because he was "tired and burnt" and was never about not getting the players he wanted then why is it the boards fault again?

Marotta has done a pretty damn good job when we look back at the ruin Secco created.

So, this mercato then:

Morata - Overpriced. Bad business that benefits Real. Bench.
Pereyra - Overpriced. Not needed at all. 6th choice in midfield. The worst signing, complete BS.
Romulo - 7th choice in midfield. Useful as vice-Licht on RB. Bench.
Evra - Nice signing. Starter in back 4. Bench in 3-5-2.
Coman - Interesting project for the future. But for now, bench.

Money committed: 50m+

Grade: 3/10

No one that complains about Marotta would actually choose to erase the past 3 years and do it over with someone else. They just like to complain because he's not perfect and no one can prove them wrong (since no one is perfect).

I thought that all the good signing we made were chosen by Conte and all the bad ones chosen by Marotta and imposed on Conte.
True.
