I'd just like to point out that if you want the best for Juventuz, you better hope not to ban me again. The day I was banned the following has happened

-Conte leaves
-Allegri our new manager
-This whole Vidal "saga" reached fever pitch

Tuz needs me. I'm the hero they deserve.

Mercato that won't make any real difference in where this team is going. Gets a 4 because nobody is breaking into the starting 11 and same issues from last year still exist.
See this is what I don't get.

Besides signing (at most) either a TQ/Winger…where else can we really upgrade our starting squad? I'm of the opinion that the problem last season was Conte CONSTANTLY using his same 11 players every game, and not trusting the bench enough. There is no doubt that over the past month, Marotta has bought players to significantly strengthen our bench. This hopefully means we can rest players in Serie A/Coppa Italia as much as possible, whilst always having our first 11 fresh and ready for CL games.

I just don't get why people expected a huge upgrade on our starting 11.

thats a really shortsighted view of things:

1. our window of opportunity to capitalize on the core group is drawing to an end, with a solid addition we could have really mounted a serious outsider challenge.
2. with the aging core we really need to get quality in asap, itd be better to do it in tranches, what do we do? we blow our load on a very risky player - morata, who if he does indeed turn out to be a marquee player wed lose him
3. the irony is the only real exciting player we got didnt cost shit

No one said anything about a huge upgrade, just one. One single player, established enough to make a difference, a leap of quality to give you that something extra. Just one!

Again, people passing off Morata as chopped liver or certain bench material. He possibly has higher potential than Griezmann.
I don't have a problem with Morata, this team needed a Griezmann or a Shaqiri more than a Morata tough.
Next year: "So? We offloaded our dead bodies (Evra, Pereyra, Bonucci, Romulo, Marotta, Pepe, Padoin, Allegri, Motta, Marrone) and added quality to the squad in Bonaventura, Del Grosso, Pinzi, Mazzari and Diego Forlan."

10/10 would do again

Evra was a very good signing, I am not denying that but I doubt he is the difference maker.

There's still a month a left though...

But yeah I can't see Marotta signing that one player we need :D He has a tendency to disappoint us all when it comes to those things.
Especially after all that unnecessary spending.

I love Beppe, but even I am of the opinion that maybe we could have signed a game changer instead of signing Pereyra. We don't take these risks, which can be a bit annoying.

You are without a doubt the most decent Marotta fan who does not hesitate to admit that Marotta cannot/will not bring a game changer.

I think I'm more of the opinion that he cannot bring a game changer (for financial reasons most likely), but if he fails to do it next season, then my opinion of him will change.
I'm inclined to think the same.

Alto my version is that he could have attempted this year, but with the coach change he decided not to take the financial risk and bought the understudy's +bench options instead.

Next season, especially if Allegri succeeds here (wich i hope, cause it means juve doing well, wich we ALL most hope), then we kinda need a starting winger.
