What is the new rule? Care to elaborate
That means the end of mega transfers:

"The legislation will allow owners to inject €15 million (£12.3m) a year into their clubs up until 2015, and then €10m (£8.2m) until 2018. This cash cannot be a loan, which is an approach already taken by the Manchester City and Chelsea hierarchy."- UEFA president Michel Platini

The teams can only spend what they earn.

Giovinco, Diego gone.. We can try to think positive and try to find good reasons for their Sales..

BUT fact is and I think the most of us know it.. that they would be important players for us and they are alot better then what we have right now.

Come on guys, we cant compare Lanzas talent to Giovincos.. Lanza can be a good squad player but he cant shine like Giovinco.

Diego got a year lol, a year when he was IMO one of the few that played good.

Diego out Quagliarella for the same amount!

Diego,Giovinco OUT Lanzafame/Martinez/Pepe Quagliarella in..

I can try to fool myself but this is fucked up..

I wanted to believe in Marotta but he really dissapointed me....

so that would mean it would be very hard to spend 30million plus for Dzeko then..or how?

you will need to generate transfer money from your revenues, borrowing from banks and buying everything and everyone would be more difficult,I guess these new rules are in that sense

Curse this son of a bitch

He bought all the useless Italian deadwood - Juve is much weaker than it was last season - mid-table is only a dream now - Relegation battle is highly possible

Our team on paper looks like Bolonga
Hey Bologna just drew with Inter, at this point I'd be happy with that. :p

that's the reason imo we are already trimming down on wages
the healthier the finances the more you can spend on the transfer market
the end of Abramovic and their kind although I'm sure he will find a way to keep his toy going

That means nothing will change with Juve (in the market). It always been our strategy to spend the money that the club earns so it won't effect us.

But clubs like Madrid, city and others will have problems with that rule.

So what if Agnelli decides to get a player from his own pockets without loaning from the banks,is that possible?sorry,i still dont know what would be allowed and not allowed in the next transfer season..

Agnelli or Abramovic or Berlusconi will have limited means to finance their club
so they can't spend millions for the sake of it
no sheik can buy players for 1 billion
at least on paper he can't but I'm sure they will find a way

Starting from 2011 owners will only be allowed to pour 15 million from their own pockets, and this money can't be from bank loans.

I find it extremely funny that the same people that called this guy our saviour are calling for his head now. And some people wonder why I hold this behaviour on this forum.
I don't know who called Marotta but that's probably because I skipped over their posts. I was the
first person to claim we based our future off of one season with Samp, but I originally thought we'd sign
better players than these. Now that's what I have been wrong about, and I should have known better.

I would much rather sign three quality players, kept Diego and Seba, and went from there. So this has been
A nightmare.

What would you have done? (If you were in charge what 3 players would you have bought, how exactly, and who would you have sold?) Just players and rough idea of value would be nice, no need to elaborate:)

Let me ask a question, what were people expecting of Juventus this season? A title challenge? €80m spent on players by a club who never spends that sort of money and never will? People are so fickle and fooled by every media nonsense that comes out. I'll underline it, I'll judge at the end of the season and success for me it will depend on a top 3 finish.
What don't you understand? Its frustrating as hell to read your posts because you just don't get it. How are we going to have success at the end of thr year with mediocre players?

You're not even addressing this issue. Marotta's job is basically done until the next window opens apart from scouting future recruitments, and we will need recruitments because these players he brought in are not any real improvement.

You may want a side filled with mediocre players, but most of us do not. The likes of Pepe and Quag are proven to be average, both in club and country. This is like marotta signing Brian Ching, Johnny Spector, and Sascha Kljestan and saying "give them time, fickle fans" when I KNOW they are rubbish.

His plan is very clear to me. Look at all the loan deals. He wants to use these guys to get us back into CL and then from there we can do much more. More money, more appeal. In the meantime, if a guy like Quagliarella suddenly takes a huge step forward, we have the option to buy him. If not, then at least he helped us make CL (if all things go well).

I'm not going to say he's done a great job but it hasn't been terrible. He has put us in a position to qualify for CL. He's put us in a better position to qualify than we were in last year. And he hasn't broke the bank to do it.

He's done a slightly above average job in my mind taking into account realistic expectations, resources and things like that.

NEXT YEAR, if we qualify for CL, will be the year I really judge him harshly because then we will be in a much better position to get talent and if he doesn't deliver I will be upset. But IMO it's a 2 year process: Find guys to help us now and get back to CL, then next year we can do much more.
