cl is the key indeed. quag, dp, amauri and iaquinta this season. And next season giovinco back and one or two of the least performing of iaq, quag and amauri will make way for a top striker.
But mind you, you are not allowed to think rationally like that because if you do so then you are one who engages mediocrity. That or you don't care enough for the club.

forever is too indefinate, hopefully we will change ownership sometime in the future and moratti will grow older and die...
But what you said does not imply that.

We cant even hope for retribution.
This means forever.

JCK, whats your honest oppinion on quag im not sure if you have been sarcastic this whole time.
My absolute honest opinion without any sarcasm is that I like Quag and I think he has potential. He may have been inconsistent in his spells at other Serie A clubs but I do believe that Juventus has always something more to offer for players.

thanks for clearing that up :p.

people do underestimate what CL football can do in the ways of transfers especially for a club, like us, that doesn't offer ridiculous wages.

I will rephrase that for you.

People disregard what CL football can do in the ways if transfers especially for a club like us because they need a reason to complain.

well i think diego would have been good this year but what i did notice is because he isnt the fastest of players heavy marking nullified him, thus nullifying the teams threat, it also made us predictable. Perhaps this will make us less predictable :xfinger:

oh and spot on with the rephrasing, I understand why they complain but i say give the new guys a chance and then we shall see.

the problem will be if Quag has a bad game all hell will break loose, unlike when Diego had a bad game where he was defended.

That's the thing, he was easily taken out of the game, he was easily forced to drop back and play next to the central midfielders. It made us, as you said, predictable.

Will we be less predictable this season? I can't really tell, I am not an expert like Andy or Cronios that can easily tell how the team will perform and what level of football the team will play. Maybe that's something good, I like to be surprised and I look forward to watch the games wishing for the best each and every game. Cronios, Andy and the likes already know everything, they know the results and they can tell the standings at the end of the season. Now how fun is that?

Time will tell I suppose, I would love to see Quag tear it up and it makes me sick how some people say they want him to flop or want us to lose because we sold Diego, I understand why some people criticise out of fear, but the ones that wish for bad results are just plain idiotic.

I personally think with what were going for this season say for arguments sake qualify for a C.L position and Europa league the signings are adequate for what were going for. The loans deal for example doesnt mean that they are officially ours as of yet....were forgetting ''The Option'' to buy. Just like Caceres deal which we didnt pursue. I know we want Serie A title and it could happen i dont know, but were gonna be taking small steps. We could start this season on a crest of a wave. its too early to say but im happy so far with the signings so far.

Also if we decide to buy players we loaned, we could do that with CL money I think (if we qualify of course). Another thing is that last year we used some of the this year mercato money, which means that next year we should have more money to spend on transfers than this year. Also next season we are going to play at our own stadium, which also means more money. And finally if our signings from this year turn to be good it will mean next year we will need less positions to fix/improve, and that means more money for WC players.

All of this is hypothetical but makes more sense than "we are becoming mediocre" theory...

Realistically the chances for quaq to succed are less than 30%
That doesnt mean he cant at any chance, just that the odds are against him for a large variety of reasons.
Objectively, no non-italian club would sacrifice a talented player like diego, for quaq.
Only in Italy quaq is rated and only because he is young and italian in an era that there are no better alternatives.

Thank you for overwhelming us with such useful, scientific information.
