All depends on the context and delivery.

It's a word that gets thrown about pretty casually at times here.
6 year old boy to his classmate "I'm gonna kick yer cunt in"

as you can see, physiology isn't high on the curriculum

I think it depends upon where you are from and what is considered acceptable.

I use bitch all the time and in different context but I don't call girls cunts without good cause.

Mark Mcghee threatened to kick a BBC Scotland pundit's cunt in after being posed a particularly stupid question. :touched:

I wish we didn't have such a wimpy bunch of players that the only manager we've had with an attitude (arrogance and aggression) I approved of couldn't succeed. :depressed:

At least cunt is Shakespearean.
Cunt is worse.

You can use the word bitch very loosely and as a joke, cunt is pretty much always an insult.
I would disagree. In England cunt is frequently used as a joke as well. Well, it is in our house anyway.

And it is also more unisex than bitch.

See this is the high brow, quasi-intellectual debate I dreamed of in my moment of weakness. Brings a tear to my eye.:touched:

Sorry to have failed you, Eazy. :depressed

But you have to take cultural context in mind. They call it "the C-word" stateside, and yet we think "bitch" is little more than a female dog. There was a time when "bloody" was the most horrible thing you could practically utter in the Commonwealth. Now it's kind of a joke.

It is a good and a bad thing that these stigmas wear off. Perhaps it is bad that the words get used more often, but that also causes them to lose their value and therefore any negative connotation towards women.
