Let's face it, Gilardino only wanted Roma, that's saying something like we not a bigger team than Roma. :(

"Alberto Gilardino may have penned a new contract with Parma, but he warns that a dream move to Roma is still on the cards.

“I am happy to stay in Silvio Baldini’s squad,” commented the striker from the Olympic training camp in Greece, “but the transfer market is open until August 31.”

Many supporters hoped that the speculation surrounding his future would come to an end after he extended his contract with Parma until 2007 last week.

However, it would seem that the 22-year-old remains determined that his switch to the Stadio Olimpico will happen sooner or later.

The Giallorossi are on the same wavelength and director of sport Franco Baldini commented, “If Parma wish to discuss Gilardino again then they know where to find us.”

Meanwhile, the former Piacenza forward – who is also a prime target for Juventus and Milan – claims there will be no further developments until after the Olympics."

He is a Juventino, but as we all know the greedy Moggi wont buy him, so its understandable that Gilagol wants to play alongside Totti and Cassano in Roma under his former coach. But im sure if he had the opportunity to join Juve, then he would already have done it.

Hell, yeah, Delle Alpi is crepe, that's why we are re-developing it. But of course you mean there's no better team to join than Juventus

To me, his statements mean that he could still come to Juve. He doesn't say that he wants to go to Roma, he just says that he could still be transfered.

2 more goals for GilaGol today.

Media says Milan or Roma next year.

Why Moggi why? :(

Latest rumor is that we take Ibrahimovic instead. A 5 gol per year scorer instead of a 23 Serie A goal scorer.

That's nice! :(

I hope but he says everyday, "I'd love to play with Totti and Cassano" :blah:

Anyway, can Roma afford keeping both of them next year? I don't think so.

I think that Gila will stay another year at Parma. And Roma need a striker for this season, and if Gila stays at Parma, then he would no longer be their option.

Yeah but Milan are watching closely the situation. Crespo is on loan and won't be bought IMO and Inzaghi will be sold. Will tomasson accept being 3 choice striker for another year?

Yeah, but the big bidding was is between Juventus and Roma. And it's just the media who is linking Milan with him. They haven't even made an official enquiry or something.
