Yeah but you need a striker a la Trezeguet, Vieri, Corradi, Bazzani, Zlatan and RVN. Gilardino can do the job for many years in Turin. IMO

When I saw Di Vaio a few years ago for Parma, he was a hard worker but did not score many spectacular goals. All the goals I have seen Gilardino score this year, including the one against Roma, have all been spectaculor and world class. The reason for DYO scoring so many times with parma is because there were good players around him, including the great Amoroso, who did much of the set ups. But Gila does not have much to work with this year, so his totals will be down.

Yeah............if Amoroso played 20 games in parma(due to injurie) ill give my leg away. Hmmmmm strange......every goal of Gila I see is regular, nothing spectacular

Juve would be crazy not to get Gilardino.

Barkuss, you must not have seen a lot of Gilardino's goals this season. :) He's a spectacular talent, and still very young.

Hell, a Gilardino-Del Piero asttack up front could be deadly if DP can stay healthy, and Gilardino can actually put in a decent workrate, and is fairly adept at getting off his own shot.

It would be a much more unpredictable attack with Gilardino in there.

The kid's got 15 goals, with not much help around him this year.

IMO DYO and Gilardino are different types of players. DYO kind of runs around like a chicken with its head cut off, while Gilardino is more controlled and classy. The goal he scored against Roma is an example.

Of all the strikers mentioned, the easiest and most secure target would be Gilardino. Parma is in need of money, Gilardino's Italian, Parma and Juve have a fairly good relationship.... all omens are pointing at him

Moggi's good relaations with parma will certainly be a benefit, plus the advantage of having Sculli there, and including him in the deal, if they have to, could certainly work in their favor.

Wait, Sculli's at chievo, isn't he?

Damn the Yellow Jerseys, I can't tell the difference :D:D

Blasi's at Parma, right?

Yes, Sculli is at Chievo, and Blasi is with Parma.

and both can bugger off imo.....sell them and make us some oney to re invest.
Why? Sculli is a good promising player, he could be very good for us, but will cost almost nothing if we sell him now. Blasi is better than Tacchinardi and could well end up being our future in the defensive midfield. Why sell that now?

Every week i like Gilardino more and more. He only played 3/5 of this season so far, and he's has something like 16 goals, scoring 2 goals per match regularly.

17 goals, 4 penalties.

not sure how many games hes played.

but if youve seen his goals you know its not due to the service at parma, which is terrible anyway!

hes definitely a buy!
