So you're telling me Donnaruma isn't worth 20-30m ? And how do yo know what will happen after 5 years , let's not go there , according to this logic same should be applied for De Ligt too .

So people have no problem when De Ligt gets paid 8m + 75m transfer fee , but have problem with Gigio getting paid 10m + 20/30m fee .
We've all clearly seen it's the wage bill that is killing us, not the transfer sums. Yet we're about to go from 6,5m to 10m for our goalie. Nobody has the exact numbers but it's obvious why people are concerned...

I'm telling you that I think we're heading down a road that will financially cripple us. Might as well give Dybala €15M then too, and €7M for bench players like Ramsey and Rabiot are fine.
Agree. It would be a weird decision from us if we get him with 10m salary + 20m commission fee.
Yes, its tempting that he is the 1st GK for Italy. But as a club we need to address our issues and area that need to be strengthened with this current pandemic condition. Our problem is not in GK, and i could argue that its easier to get another quality GK if we want Szczesny successor. It's not good for the dressing room to blend some greedy players.

Respect for Maldini for keep his ground with Raiola. 8m/year is already big for GK on this current condition. They also get quality GK Maignan (25 years) with reasonable fee 15m + 3m salary. Tici would be very stupud if he get Donnaruma and bow down to what Raiola ask

PSG makes the most sense to be Dollar's next team, imo. They have an aging keeper, who cost them more than just a game or two last year, and then there is the Leonardo connection.
You guys might be lucky just enough to dodge this bullet ...

Jeeze, I would have just taken Maignan ourselves if we want to change keepers. Instead of doubling our wages in net we could have cut it in half. Use the rest on a CM.

Yup, 3m wages and 15m fee in a 2 year period rounds up roughly to the same as Tek on his 6.5m salary, that'd have been a good deal even if we didn't get a single penny for Tek.

Lets hope Donnarumma is worth it on the pitch.

This opportunity is too good to pass on, but it will put a dent on our wage bill, but my bigger concern is Raiola, we all know we will have a drama every few years when renewal comes...

Yes. De Ligt proved way more at Ajax than Donnarumma did with Milan. And it's pathetic that Donnarumma becomes one of our highest earners. If Ronaldo leaves possibly most paid player. That is fucking insane

He's going to earn almost as much as Oblak and Ter Stegen. Both better, proven goalkeepers. I thought we overpaid for De Ligt with that high salary. But compared to Donnarumma it now looks like a bargain.

De Ligt is on 8mln plus bonuses. Donna would most likely get 10 flat with more bonusses included. He came here as one of the best young CB players while doing great in Ajax, even in European competition where they left a big mark, unlike Milan who didn't even taste it. Even others wanted him yet we somehow managed to get him and it turned out great.

Donnarumma was a starter for 6th place Milan. The only reason he's overhyped is simply because he's "next Buffon" for one single reason: he's Italian. If he was Belgium GK we wouldn't even bid, let alone make him our highest paid player.

I'm 100% against offering Dybala anything more than 8m/y , Ramsey shouldn't earn nothing more than 2m , he shouldn't play for Juve at all , also Rabiot doesn't deserve nothing more than 5-6m , Donnaruma is generational talent
Dollaruma hasn't done anything yet to warrant 10 million in wages. Fuck this generational talent BS. He's a very solid goalkeeper, but he makes mistakes, and he still has a long way to go before even being mentioned among the best keepers to ever grace a football pitch.

If you're going to give Dollaruma 10 million, then Dybala is well within his rights to ask for the same, and it would only be fair.

Top keepers have around 80 % saves succes rate. Szczesny had around 68-69 % this season, but tbf it was one of his worst. Last season he had 74.4 which gives him place in top 10 goalkeepers in the world. Still its much worse than Oblak who gets around 80 % each season.
Donnarumma on the other hand never reached more than 71 % save success rate, but he is improving by each year.:
2017/2018 - 68.42 %
2018/2019 - no data
2019/2020 - 70.63 %
2021/2021 - 70.77 %

Szczesny:
2017/2018 - 72.73 %
2018/2019 - no data
2019/2020 - 74.42 %
2021/2021 - 68.93 %

Oblak is on different level though:
2017/2018 - 83.21%
2018/2019 - 79.95 %
2019/2020 - 76.72 %
2021/2021 - 80.47 %

Handanovic:
2017/2018 - 75.61%
2018/2019 - no data
2019/2020 - 71.68 %
2021/2021 - 70.27 %

now the question is how much can Donnarumma improve and is Szczesny really getting worse or it was just one season. Anyway this stats just shows how much better Oblak really is, only Courtois can be compared to him in last seasons and Navas maybe.

Courtois:
2017/2018 - 69.09 %
2018/2019 - 65.71 %
2019/2020 - 79.17 %
2021/2021 - 76.27 %

Navas:
2017/2018 - 72.81 %
2018/2019 - 74.19%
2019/2020 - 73.13 %
2021/2021 - 80.43 %

And Milan is trading Donna, for this:
Maignan:
2017/2018 - 67.68 %
2018/2019 - 74.02 %
2019/2020 - 68.60 %
2021/2021 - 79.09 %

Btw this are just league stats.
