Now it’s apparent: the Juventus Stadium and the Bianconeri fans are the 12th man on the pitch. The ovation which accompanies each action, the public being so close are a sort of advantage for the team which, following their victory over Milan, celebrated the success at the feet of the stands. "It was brilliant - said Gigi - A great feeling for us and for the fans. We were able to transfer the boost they gave us onto the pitch and there’s a great bond between us and them.”

The special drive and the aggressive attitude made the difference against the Rossoneri:“We need to maintain this spirit and this aggression, because without it we could run the risk of becoming a normal side. The way in which we read the games now allows us to shorten the gap with the strongest sides. If we seem those sides managed by Lippi and Capello? This Juventus is going to become a valuable team, and the right spirit and the great morale that we show on the pitch, along with the freshness that we’re able to demonstrate, as we play once a week, associate us with those sides.”

The ball seemed to be bewitched, because even if they were clearly superior, Juve couldn’t break the deadlock. However, Buffon didn’t lose his faith in the Bianconeri’s victory: “I had faith because we deserved this three points, and we were chasing them until the very end. We’re very satisfied for this positive result because we’ve achieved it showing our best.”

Mmm... don't remember that. I can't think of anything specific he said, just always got the feeling that he wouldn't want to stay in football after he retired.

I'll sure miss him when he's gone though... a lot. I'm getting sad thinking of Juve without Buffon.

He seems like a very nice person and with such a good heart. Juve without Alex and Gigi

The day Del Piero and Buffon no longer play for Juve will be a truly sad day, no matter who we have bought by then.
