Just a few days remain to show your support for Gigi Buffon. The voting process for the 2011 Golden Foot award is due to close at midday on Friday 7 October. Juve’s goalkeeper is one of 10 candidates and the only Italian in the running.

Buffon is aiming to follow 2010 winner Francesco Totti by leaving a mould of his footprint on the 'Champions Promenade’, located on the seafront of the Principality of Monaco. A win would see the Bianconeri number one join previous Juventus champions Del Piero (2007), Nedved (2004) and Roberto Baggio (2003) in receiving the honour.

Competing for the accolade alongside Buffon are: Beckham, Casillas, Drogba, Eto'o, Giggs, Puyol, Raul, Xavi and Zanetti.
