He would hardly be a deserter a this point. Pavel is gone in the summer as well as Trez more then likely. DP and Camo would be the only ones left along with Buffon. We all know Camo is pissed at the current situation and so is Alex. He had his bust up earlier in the year with Ranieri although I feel he's tried to put it behind him so he can do whats best for the team. Even though he's surrounded by mostly shit players who have no conviction to play for the club like they do. At this point they're all disheartened and dismayed. I wouldn't be surprised if they all want to get out at this point. Can we really blame them?

They stuck by the club through the lowest of lows and they get repayed by being told that they should be playing with Almirons, and Knezevic's, Tiago's and Molinaro's. The only players worthy of playing in this team that didn't get relegated with the club are Amauri, Iaq, Gio, Marchisio, Sissoko, Chiellini, Leggro and Manninger. I would say Zanetti but he's pretty much past it now.

He made his name exactly because he's the keeper who brings 15 points to his team per season with his saves. He doesn't make these saves this season. I remember 1-2 saves from him in the last 6 matches. 90% of the on target shots were goals.

No need to deny this. Gigi is having a very poor season. Just compare him with Julio Cesar. The Brazilian brough at least 15 pts to Inter with his miraculous saves. Gigi hardly brought us 2 pts.

But I don't think that right now, as a result of no particular injury, he's just suddenly dropped in skill, he's been consistent for too long for me to believe that. And I think if you put him in a good team right now he'll suddenly be his old self again.

I think so too.
I was just stating the obvious, that Gigi is having a poor season, especially for his standard. I see some say otherwise, and i think they're wrong.
There are reasons for his poor form, but the poor form is a fact.

That John O'Shea bit was clearly a joke, i amn't really going to acknowledge that to be fair, consider O shea is a journeyman defender

You can't blame the defence entirely. Football TEAM, everybody has a role to play and every body has to share the blame if they fail in there 'big' role (attack/defence). Im not saying its all Gigis fault, Im saying hes not blameless.

You can't blame the defence entirely. Football TEAM, everybody has a role to play and every body has to share the blame if they fail in there 'big' role (attack/defence). Im not saying its all Gigis fault, Im saying hes not blameless.

TBH, I dont think Gigi is the most stable person in the world mentally, that is I think that he needs the right enviroment to play well, and when he doesnt have the right motivation he plays poorly. Maybe it's time for him o get new motivation elsewhere.
