its the same as this one:

Juve set Buffon price

Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco has insisted that Gigi Buffon will not leave Turin for less than £50m.

The Bianconero was one of the first to commit to the outfit after the club’s demotion last summer, but he was recently paired with a move after he declared that he missed playing in the Champions League.

Reports in Italy suggest that both Milan clubs are in a race to sign the Italy goalkeeper, who was reportedly valued by the Bianconeri at £28m.

“Granted that Juventus do not intend to put Buffon on the market, the £28m I have read about would only be enough for a co-ownership,” said Secco to Sky on Wednesday.

“Buffon is a target for many teams, not only Roberto Mancini’s side, but £28m would never be enough.

“You want me to promise that he will not leave? I don’t make promises, it’s not in my nature,” concluded Secco.

Former director general Luciano Moggi declared on Tuesday that he was sure Buffon would move to Milan as Rossoneri goalkeeper Nelson Dida was set to move to a foreign club.

However, the Brazilian custodian did recently agree a new £2.8m per year at the San Siro, despite some high-profile errors this term.

i personally think Buffon will leave Juventus after helpin' the cause for promotion... if he really wanted to stay... he would have stated so at this stage of the season...

and i believe he would choose a proper Italian team that actually have Italians as teammates...

Why do a lot of us (Juventini) act as if Buffon has already decided to leave Delle Alpi? Is there any new news or is there any confirmation?
some think that when he doesn't confirm he'll stay means he could leave...

ya have said this before last summer... but this time it seems more likely.
without calciopoli he was leaving for sure because of Capello. They didn't see eye to eye.

Gigi said his goodbyes to the curva in Juve's last home game back then.

The deal was indeed cash + Abbiati.

I really hope it won't be the same deal this time.

I expect Secco to go for a swap deal which might include Gila and Abbiati this time.

I would preffer to shoot Buffon on the head than to sell him to one of the Milan clubs, regardless of the price issue.
i'm sure Buffon will leave if he hear comments like this...

have you already forgotten that he was one of the first to confirm his stay despite the drop to Serie B? have you already forgotten all the good things he has done for Juventus?

Read my post again, I used sarcasm to show that a dead Buffon is surely more profitable than a Milanista one... sorry if I hurt yar sensitive feelings with my post :groan:

Big Luciano expected Buffon to leave to Milan next summer, if this become true then I think we can officially start to call Secco a Pussy.
Big Luciano is also rumored to be doing Milan's mercato.

anyway, I'll wait till the summer to make a judgment on Secco.

photocopy boy to freakin' Juve GM.

Let's leave it like this...we are very thankful that Gigi stayed in Serie B and at the moment he's still a Juve player. If he decides to leave then we can let it all out.

I'm not in a hurry to make a final judgment as well, even Moggi did things like trading Henry and signing Baiocco, but I'm not impressed with Secco's work so far neither his personality.
