Haven't you thought that Buffon might say (answer) same thing cause the interviewers ask him the same shit over and over?
:agree: You're right, Elvin. The media can be a right pain in the proverbial!

perfectly understandable. our star players already sacrificed themselves enough, now it's the club's turn to repay them.
:agree: It's time the management started supporting the players & club by doing their job by planning for next season & getting suitable players for the task.

Buffon knows more than us. He knows what is going on in the club. What we hear are all rumours. The journalists wake up in the morning and say today i feel like matching Juve with Cristiano Ronaldo. and they do then everyone thinks cause the journalists say this shit it is going to happen
True! Which is why I hate hearing "rumours" via the media

i thought it opened on the 2nd in Italy
I thought so too!

    Juve to allow Buffon exit?
    Thursday 4 January, 2007

Juventus would not stand in Gianluigi Buffon’s way if he wanted to leave the club, stated the player’s agent Silvano Martina.

The World Cup winning goalkeeper is contracted to the Bianconeri until 2011, but has reiterated that he cannot promise he will stay in Turin next season and needs to know the club’s plans in order to decide his future.

“The relationship between us and Juventus is so friendly that I am sure that if Gigi were to decide that he wants to move to another club, the management would consider this possibility serenely,” said Martina.

“In any case, I don’t see any movements in the near future. What I can say is that we have scheduled a date to meet and discuss with the club’s management.

“We need to evaluate Juve’s future, as well as Gigi’s. He is only asking for a top-level team – the current one is strong but only in Serie B.

“To return to be as competitive as in the past, Juve need to sign another five or six quality players,” concluded Martina.

Bianconeri chief Giovanni Cobolli Gigli stated on Wednesday that the club was willing to do all it could to repay Buffon and the other players who decided to remain in Turin after the summer Calciopoli scandal.

    5,6 quality signings the least.

    i'll sponsor them :D

5,6 signings would not be expensive if Juve are clever:

    1)Saviola- free
    2)Grygera- free
    3)Lupoli-free
    4)Mascherano- 15 million euros max
    5)Barzagli- 7 million + Marchionni
    6)Ribery- 20 million

and the board said we have 50 million euros to spend and the above results in a total of 42 million euros. and we will sell the rubbish we have in our team: Zebina, Zalayeta, Giannicheda etc

Assuming they are all interested in joining us, here are my remarks about this list:

Doubt Grygera will be seen as a quality signing.
    Saviola, possible
    Mascherano, Possible but hard.
Lupoli, don't know is he is seen as a quality signing.
    Barzagli, more expensive then that.
Ribery, with a lot of big teams (f.e. Real) after him, why would he join a team that isn't playing cl next season?

The 50MEuro was before the sponsor deal was stopped if I am not wrong.
And Zebina, Gianna (isn't he a free player after this season) and Zala won't bring us much cash.

Lupoli is dubbed the next Paolo Rossi by HENRY and i think he knows what he is saying.
Barzagli isnt worth loads and if we offer marchionni or Criscito his value will go down by at least half.
Ribery might join us as we can offer many French speaking players, a French coach and a definite starting place which he would not get at other teams

I don't know how true henry's words are but I hope they are true if we sign him.
Barzagli might be worth more, maybe we should also offer Zala in the deal, Palermo can use a striker.
And w.r.t. Ribery, the starting place might help convincing him, but I am sure other teams (challeging for CL) can also guarentee him that, add to that that, IMO he hasn't shown us enough yet to justify such a high asking price

    the translation is :

Buffon: "With the Juve I would not leave me in ugly relationships"

In a granted interview to the microphones of 'Sky', Gigi Buffon returns to talk of a possible goal goodbye season to the Juventus, explaining better still himself/herself/itself: "I believe, also for the relationship that I have with the society and with the components of this last, that if had to make I count me that even my future should be from another part, there won't surely be any type of attrition, of friction, from the same society

i honestly find it hard to understand the translation must be the website i use to translate.

i cant see how we can get top quality players if we dont sell Buffon we need serious income that will come from his sale i fear....
if we should sell someone i would begin with camo and trez and stop there. Buffon must stay here. This is my point : trezeguet is a goal scorer and he's ageing so it's understandable. Buffon as a goal keepet can last for more than 5 years so we should keep him.

    Hopefully !!
