Can't blame Gigi for this draw, we should have won anyway.
Seriously tho, how can you not blame him? He fucked up bad. He couldn't have picked a worse time to fuck up like that. I still love him, he's still the greatest keeper of all time, but I think Gigi himself will be the first to admit he is to blame for dropping those points. The outfield could have played better, but we are a team built to win 1-0.

But we shall overcome and win the next two matches. Maybe this disaster is just what the boys needed to focus and finish the job.

The joy of a Scudetto would be 10x sweeter after this.

If we manage to get back mentally from this set-back, Conte truly is a magician.

Goddamnit Klin, now I'll be as nervous as you for the remaining games. :scared:
I swear I could've killed someone before their goal. After they scored, I went on silence mode and left my dad swear at the TV. I literally said nothing and neither did I respond to him. Literally in shock.

If we dont win all, yes i do. Hes a professional and will show up the next game and do his job, but if we dont win lo scudetto this imo will haunt him.
I think that considering his experience, the season he has had and the promising squad he's playing with, he'll be able to handle it reasonably well.

But hopefully we win and it won't even have to come down to that. :xfinger:

I agree with this. It's not as if he's 21 and missing out on his first one, this is such a meaningful season and if they lose all when he knows he could have stopped it, then he will carry that with him.

Yeah man I was exactly the same. My brother was laughing and taunting me, saying "the best keeper in the world huh? :howler:" (Real fan, believes Casillas is the best). Couldn't even bother to respond with a "fuck off".

He actually had two close calls before the error. One with Di Michelle, the other was an incident where he was complacent and had to pass it out of the field for a throw in, and then the error. You'd think two close calls would have done it. I don't blame Gigi for this even a little, but that ball should have been cleared all the way to parking lot outside without any hesitation.
How is that not blaming him?

He is to blame for the goal - no questions asked. The thing is that after all he has done for this club, he is still loved by pretty much all Juve fans, as he should be

But he will bounce back - the guy has had a long glorious career with numerous championships, a Champions League final and he was voted the second best player at a World Cup. On top of that, his loyalty towards this club in immense! He could have chosen any club on the planet when we were relegated, but chose to stay and fight the battle.

Forza Gigi!

Btw, 2 wins might not even be necessary for us. Inter "just" have to keep Milan from winning and then one victory will be enough. I think our experienced players (including Gigi) will motivate the shit out of the team!

Aye I went silent for a couple of minutes. Then started swearing and shouting when Pirlo started messing up late on, everyone gives up trying to talk to me in those moments.

Seriously, I hate watching a match with my father. During the same match, he manages to praise and criticize a player 100 times each. It's fucking ridiculous.

All I know is that my throat hurts for having smoked 9 cigarettes during this match. :sergio:

Does he pull out the "it's just a game" that my family seem prone to.
Nah let me give you some examples.

Before the match started:

The coach is making a mistake by not starting Ale today.
Lecce are a very weak team.
We should win easily.

During the match:

Why don't he sub Del Piero in? Quagliarella is a fucking joke.
After Vidal's miss, he wanted the coach to sub him off. He tackled someone and regained possession of the ball, he started praising him again.
Borriello should have started this game.
When Del Piero came in, he was somehow against the decision at that point.
Lecce does not deserve to get relegated. They're extremely good.

After Buffon's error:

This is the same guy who's considered as the best GK ever?
The match was fixed!!!!
Juventus does not want to win the league.
We lost to an amateur side.

Before he went to sleep just now:

We'll crush Cagliari next Sunday. I'm sure by tomorrow, this phrase is going to change.
