to be fair I think Gigi's "bad phase" (after the injury etc) is not a reflection of him alone, our whole team was struggling in recent years as a collective effort there's just no cohesion in motivation or play. now that the team seems pretty much together, buffon shines again :superman:

I will never understand how some people rate Casillas as the best goalkeeper currently. Gigi is light years ahead of him.

I hate how he's overrated by the press, but well, you can't really say he isn't the best of the moment. I just started to know the hype around him after WC'10, because before that he ALWAYS seemed shaky to my eyes. Not even close to guys like Cech and Julio Cesar, for example (who aren't even in the same class level as Buffon).
