So who's gonna superman some hoes now that he is out?
Boumsong.

Seriously, if Gigi is out for a long time then we need to think about loaning in a goalie instantly. The problem we have with goalies is that the best in the world is our first choice, and then we have 3 others who would be decent for Serie B and nothing more. Our defense sucks, and there has been a lot of concentration mistakes going on in there. Buffon is the one who always seems to stop the ball going into the net though. Our defense was flattered a lot by what he does, so Legro looks like he is having a good season, but he has cost us important goals this season. We NEED a back up goalie who is better than Belardi, because he is shocking.

Buffon to miss Livorno game

The team are continuing their preparation two days before the away game at Livorno. The Bianconeri worked on the pitch in a morning session today. Both Nedved and Salihamidzic, who missed Wednesday's game in Milan, took part in the session. Zebina and Camoranesi carried out separate strength training and are recovering their condition in view of getting back on the pitch soon.

Meanwhile there's news regarding Buffon and Marchionni. The keeper's back-ache is getting better, but he won't be available for next Sunday's away game in Tuscany. However it's possible he could go back training as early as Sunday.

The midfielder underwent new tests after the ones he took on Thursday, and these showed that there is no recurring fracture to the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot. The player has however sprained his foot and will have to rest; he should be recovering within 25 to 30 days.

The other two injured players – Chiellini and Andrade – are continuing their respective programmes.

The team will carry out one more training session on Saturday morning before the away match at Livorno.
i dont no if this has already been posted. but here you go. good news for marchionni no fracture

Juventus have Buffon worry

Gigi Buffon is hoping to be back in action within the next seven days, but fears are growing that the Juventus ace could be sidelined for some time.

The goalkeeper will miss tomorrow’s trip to Livorno with a back problem that has left fans somewhat anxious given the club’s already stuttering form.

My back will stop me from playing at Livorno and I’ll be forced to watch my teammates on the television,” he stated.

My condition is getting better though and I’m already hoping to be available for the Italian Cup game against Inter in midweek.

Despite Buffon’s optimism, reports in Italy on Saturday are suggesting that the club’s medical staff are worried that the No 1’s problems may be the start of something more serious – like a hernia.

Should that be the case then there is the realistic possibility that the former Parma custodian could miss up to six games.

That would leave boss Claudio Ranieri with a massive problem as Buffon’s No 2 is the little-known Emanuele Belardi who has been limited to Coppa Italia action this term.

The Bianconeri will now monitor the Buffon situation closely in view of possibly making a goalkeeping move before the transfer window closes.

If the club have any fears that Buffon may be sidelined for a substantial amount of time then they could bring in a new face.

Their options would include bringing back Antonio Mirante from his loan at Sampdoria or even making a move for Gianluca Pagliuca who is currently without a club.
