Pazzini is a $#@!ing piece of $#@! who is over-rated by so many on this forum. His scoring record is nothing to shout about, and he has never struck me as anything but an average to good (on rare occasions) striker. Definitely not better than Matri and Quags combined.

True true, but dont forget that Conte wad at his disposal Matri and Quaq and he preferred the crippled Borriello, only because he was closer to the finisher role.
So no matter if we like it or not, Pazz will be a natural choice for a starter.

ATM, i believe that both Quaq and Matri, when on form, are both better, overall, as players, than Pazz, but finisher wise, Pazza can play that role, as Conte wants it.

Pazzini is a better finisher, and a more efficient striker than Matri.

However, just like Matri, he needs to have proper service. The big difference between the two is that Pazzini is more clinical.

Despite Matri being the slightly more athletic player, he doesn't use his abilities as well as Pazzini does.

That being said, if Pazzini is the marquee striker signing, I'm going to be underwhelmed, to be perfectly honest.
