Check out Pazzo's goals this season:

Look how many goals he scores out of nowhere, being first on the ball and running in the right paths. Look at his heading skills, his control during his finishes etc.

If we are going to play 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 with direct and wide play, with some like Krasic, Robinho, Cassano, Sanchez, Vargas on the wings, then Pazzo would be a perfect striker.

Imagine this:

Pazzini - Amauri/Iaquinta
Vargas - Sissoko - Marchisio - Krasic

That would be deadly. We should keep one of Gio/Diego then, and use him and Del Piero to be an alternative to the attack, adding one creative and skilled dribbler to the frontline, in needed situations.

We should try to get some money from Trez or trade for something promising. Sell Poulsen/Melo and Tiago.

How do you know clubs avoid Pazzini? Just because we get linked doesn't mean we are even following him, and vice-versa. I'm sure enough teams have been following him, he has been scoring goals after all. I bet English teams have looked at him, especially as he scored a hat trick in the first game at the new Wembley.

Look at Rolando Bianchi, a limited player who had one good season, Man City picked him up for €13m which is a fortune for a club like Reggina. English teams have scouts everywhere, even at U15 level in Italy.
I don't. But we'll see his future clubs.

If nobody bought Gila when he was great, I highly doubt we'll see Pazzini somewhere in England (for example).

What about Bayern's formation? Is it modern?
It's not classic 4-4-2. They have players like Robben and Ribery on the flanks. I don't see your point as they play very offensive. Having Vargas would be totally different most likely.

Typical poacher, he didn't beat a defender with the ball in any of these goals. He's basically like Trezeguet, but worse and I think we need a striker who can do more.
We need a goal scorer. How he scores those goals is irrelevant. Our striker(s) will be playing with Diego and 2 wingers next season.

Juventus fans are getting overly picky, as now it's the type of goals he scores rather than how many goals he scores which is the deciding factor. If the opposite were true, Inter would have never signed Milito, as the majority of his goals at Genoa for the 08/09 season were poacher type goals and pk's.

Cut him some slack. The reason he scored those goals with barely any opposition is because he's good and finding himself in the right position to recieve the ball and put it in the back of the net easily. He scored way too many goals for them to be coincidence.

Give me one reason he is shit other than being a greasy Italian?
His linkup play is poor, his holding up of the ball is terrible, he lacks pace, does not assist, never turns a defender. As a footballer he is woeful.

However what do I know I only thought Defoe was better than Rooney.

I don't see how people can call Pazzini shit. Have you missed the part where he scored 20 odd goals this season?

We should be forking out 30 million for Di Natalie then because he's scored 29 in the league and has'nt got the most talented player in Italy playing behind him.

Oh he's scored 19 league goals this season same as Miccoli should we fork out the same amount for Miccoli because atleast he has more to his game than Pazzini.

I'm not saying we should overpay for Pazzini, but he's not shit. For a decent price, you get a decent striker. It's as simple as that.

Di Natale and Gilardino do that regularly and I wouldn't want them here.

However, I wouldn't be too upset at Pazzini here, just I think he wouldn't improve our team much.
