if its true they want Mario, and that he wants to go there, we should consider a trade. we wouldnt get more than 10-15M for Mandzukic anyway if we were to sell i imagine, and if its true they ask that much, we can use Mandzukic as leverage. id rather Cristante, Praet and Pellegrini as bench options though

I'd hate it if Mario would go to Milan. He would actually really improve them (Not that it would make me fear them, but still) If anything make it a straight swap.

Only a matter of time till we were linked with him. Dacdical speaking it would be very nice. He is going to be played like Koke or Saul to play a flat 442 like Atletico to integrate Dybala-Higuain for next season

yes, but you know how we are, granting wishes of our players. we seem to have good relations with Milan, we gave them Bonucci, we took MDS. now we want Jack and they Mandzu. Mandzu is obviously much better which is something we need to take advantage of. probably wont though

We are actually going to bid for him!
Wtf?? If we are to waste away 30mil on an Italian CM, we should at least pick a fighter.
Invest the money on a proper foreigner for our real needs.
And for the nationalistic sentiment, a clueless ball winner.
Bonaventura is the worst kind of waste, even worse than Sturaro

The only difference is Bonashitura is not even in the same stratosphere talent or ability wise as those two names you mentioned. Another underwhelming signing on the horizon.

can't we just sign Cristante? price should be similar, he's 5 years younger, with much higher ceiling and already is at the level Bonaventura is

After Can, Juventus want any Italian midfielder. Fabio Paratici reportedly met with Mino Raiola, agent of Giacomo Bonaventura. There's also interest from Roma, Arsenal & Borussia Dortmund. Price is €25- 30m. Allegri wants him because he considers him a multipurpose player. [RAI]

Meaning he is shit everywhere so it doesn't matter where you play him.

depends on what you consider shit, it's possible he'd be a starter CM if he was at Juve this season. he's totally fine for backup, but we shouldn't waste that much resources on backups when we don't have starters in midfield. also I prefer our backups younger.

Why in the hell we need Jack, especially for money?
for the same reason we bought ds: max apparently has a crush on both of them.

i'm all in for italo-juve, i'd take verratti, romagnoli, florenzi, gagliardini or perin in a sec, but i'd pass on the likes of bonaventura or darmian.

I don't think ds situation is the same as jacks. DS was at the rock bottom, he was very promising some time ago and we clearly were in need of RB.
Jacks is not that cheap, he is a second-tier player at his best and we don't have a position to play him.

dunno then. he's not someone who'd be a step up in quality. i don't really see the reason to buy mediocre italian players for any money, to be honest. we'll still have a couple of italians on board, so the 17+4+4 rule wouldn't kick in anyway.

according to serie a regulations:
- homegrown: marchisio, rugani, spinazzola, pinsoglio/mirante
- italy grown: chiellini, barza, stu, caldara, ds, berna, + maybe mandragora

even if barza wouldn't sign an extension and stu were sold, we wouldn't need to buy any mediocre italians just to have at least 4 italy-grown guys in the squad
