hello people. Lippi adores Tudor. If Tudor was a woman, Lippi'll probably marry him. The last thing you'll expect from Lippi and moggi is selling Tudor. Plus he isnt really on a high salary, so i dont see the harm in keeping him.

Hehe, I like your avatar Holdon. The show has just started here.

On to Tudor, I can see Martins logic and all, but the point is, how can we sell a guy like Tudor? When ever I've seen him (in central defence) he's been fantastic, a few own goals but all in all superb.

And we can't surely blame all of his injures on our training regime? I mean, he has got injured in matches too (like the CL final).

Evidently it's better suited to some than it is to others. Tudor has gotta be one of the most consistently injured players in the league..

Yeah, but my point is that he might be just as much injured at another club, a bit like Vieri. I mean, I really doubt that our training regime is that much harder than other clubs (perhaps our pre-season training is tougher). Pro trainers and specialists are in charge in every big club, it's not like they just jog around playing football tennis everyday at Inter or Roma for example.

tudor was one of the best defenders in the league when ancelotti was here - because he got regular first team football.

hes injured now, but im sure hell be fit soon. he cant be injured forever.

hes a good tackler, good marker, strong in the air, strong generally, can pass and sitribute the ball, is a team player and never complains.

I'm sure if Glen were here he would give you some numbers :)

On what? :)

And is it Ventrone who's in charge of the physical side of things, or has he left?

It's a shame that many of you dont want to give him a chance.....
here's a couple of points i'd like to clear up.

1. It's only been 2 years. DP has been out longer and doesn't contribute every now and then like Tudor does.

2. it's true that Tudor isn't as important as DP and his history with juve is no where near DP's, but Tudor's wages are a hell of a lot less than DP's. so it evens out.

3. He's only around 27. he's still got at least 5 great years of defending in him.

4. If he ever does get fully fit, then our D would be a hell of a lot tighter. the man was Brilliant in the 00/01 season and i dont see why he can't repeat those performances when he's injury free.
it's not like he loses his touch (unlike DP). Tudor actually played well against Real Soc. in fact, he played Great for a person who hasn't started a game in ages!

5. Let's not do what Inter did to Ronaldo. Ronaldo was sold after years of injuries then he was sold as he got better. let's give Tudor at least till the end of the year to find strength.
i agree with u mate , and i think he doesnt take full time to recover,
and he is one of best defender in the world, he just need time
to recover....

we all saw what he can do when he is in his best condition,,,
geat job..

Yes, he should be rested until he is fully recovered anf fit. i feel that he was always rushed to play when he was not yet in his best condition.

I think he's younger than 27... can anyone confirm this?
I think he was only 19 when we bought him in 99'? That makes him only 24.

Strange thing is he was quite healthy under Ancelotti. Probably due to Lippi's prescribed DM training for a central defender backfiring eh? ;) The poor guy's so disenchanted that he's refusing to recover ...

tugor is 24 ? serious ? he looks so much older

i think he can be a better player than he is now, plus, his height for juve is actually quite useful if we use him on air (i cant believe camoranesi's head stands at his armpit)

i think we should give him another 1/2 season or so and then decide. sure , his own goals are annoying , but he once turned from villain to hero (MU disaster to deportivo delight)

Tudor just turned 25. So he's still quite young, and too talented to give up on.

I would hate for Juve to be known as "the team that gave up on Tudor"

I didnt realise Tudor was just 25 but still does not excuse the fact that his injuries have not helped us at all

Few would mention it or think of it but he indirectly caused us the cl last season as he managed to get himself injured by trying a back heel and made Lippi make a substitution he didn't bargain for

I think its time we got rid of Dp too as everything and everyone's form and injury has to be excused because silly Dp got injured and Juventus waited forever seemingly for him so why not just do the same for everyone else

Martin has a good point about if the guy is always injured at Juventus and he has been for such a long time , why keep him apart from the fact that Dp is still around too

I keep reading about his potential as a defender but io am yet to see it as a defender as the only thing i remember about our defending of ancelottis era is the 3 wise men as they were called iuliano, Ferrara and Montero

Yes, Igor is 25 as Gigi, so he has still lot time to play and to show us, that he is great, just these injuries should leave him ASAP! We saw him against Sociedad how good he can be if he is fit! So I don't want him to leave! Forza Igor! :strong:

"indirectly caused us the cl last season"
they were like thousands of things that indirectly caused us the cl! it's not a good point.
I don't think we need to sell Tudor. yes he's always injured and that's annoying. but he is a good defender (and he was also good against Sociedad. his own goal ruined everything), and he used to score super important goals for us in the past.
why the hell we would want to sell him? he adds a lot to our squad and our defence force, and he does have quality!

He cannot add something ecause he hardly plays.

Well... let give anothar chance o him. But im very sure that he will continue struggling with his injuries.

Ummmmm, you'll be hearing from my law firm Nunzio, Tony & Vito, attorneys at law, Vinman.

    Something called "Copyright Infringement"

    "Frankentudor"

    :D:D
Sorry Serge, but I started calling him "FrankenTudor" last season, when he reminded me of a large, dumb zombie !!!!

If anyone thinks our team hasnt given him enough chances, then how much longer shall we wait ??

Anyone who compares Tudor to Vieri should be put in a mental hospital !!!! No comparison, Vieri gets injured, but doesnt missed 75 % of the season like Tudor does

    Bring someone else in !!!!!!!!!!

A fit Tudor scores more from the CB position than most strikers in Serie A and adds security in the defense, and I still claim he's our best defender
