There are so few real all-rounders these days. Most top players are pretty specialised.

You look at Ballacks intelligence, his technique, his physique and his two-footedness and you'd feel confident he could perform to a high standard for you in pretty much any position you care to put him in.

Who's the best right now? I guess I'd pick Yaya Toure - and I'd probably also prefer him over Ballack if it came to that, but I'm a big Yaya fanboy.
