That's about it. Character development in BCS is unmatched, no other series is on that level, not only Breaking Bad. But with that being said I still prefer Breaking Bad as a series in general.
BB has a bit grander existential mythology to it, and Walt's character arc throughout the series is really hard to top. BB was also excellent, but transparently deliberate, about laying a plot trap for the viewer in thinking there was only one possible outcome or no way out ... and then shocking you with something completely random and unexpected. But between those moments, a lot of the plot pacing was slow and even sometimes down to a trickle.
BCS reflects more of a mastery of letting a plot, and multiple plots, unfold at once. It's not paced as slow as BB in parts, but it's not always intentionally swinging at the edge of chaos to right itself either. BCS now suggests to me the Gilligan team could write a remake of The Golden Girls and make it a fascinating drama.
What has happened to Stranger things? Season 4 is actually very good - the best by a huge margin. It has become a decent show - not great, but very close.
I have enjoyed watching it and intend to continue to do so. Very strange feeling when the show in question is ST.
