That's about it. Character development in BCS is unmatched, no other series is on that level, not only Breaking Bad. But with that being said I still prefer Breaking Bad as a series in general.
BCS shows the evolution of the Gilligan team as master storywriters and craftsmen. The way they play scenarios off of each other and still don't have a word out of place is amazing. I like it more than BB.

BB has a bit grander existential mythology to it, and Walt's character arc throughout the series is really hard to top. BB was also excellent, but transparently deliberate, about laying a plot trap for the viewer in thinking there was only one possible outcome or no way out ... and then shocking you with something completely random and unexpected. But between those moments, a lot of the plot pacing was slow and even sometimes down to a trickle.

BCS reflects more of a mastery of letting a plot, and multiple plots, unfold at once. It's not paced as slow as BB in parts, but it's not always intentionally swinging at the edge of chaos to right itself either. BCS now suggests to me the Gilligan team could write a remake of The Golden Girls and make it a fascinating drama.

What has happened to Stranger things? Season 4 is actually very good - the best by a huge margin. It has become a decent show - not great, but very close.
I have enjoyed watching it and intend to continue to do so. Very strange feeling when the show in question is ST.
What killed it a bit for me last season is the show seemed in competition with itself to go bigger or go home. It become more of a Hollywood blow-out caricature as a result. I've been reluctant to start the latest season for that reason, but I will eventually.

What is brilliant about BB is that the protagonist starts off as someone who is at least a little bit likeable. You kind of cheer for him, you feel sorry for him. You invest in this guy. And he just starts doing worse and worse stuff, until you realise that you really shouldn't have any sympathy for this guy.

Kenobi is too forced. It is lacking a lot of development. Should had been 10 episodes (minimum). It is enjoyable, but is obviously made for a Marvel type of audience. I need something more than just another Rogue One version of Vader.

Stranger Things, a bunch of kids fighting soviets and saving the world from the devil! :hihi: The show is stupid as f*ck. But at last has a great soundtrack and visual effects are very good.
It’s a trip down nostalgia lane for people who grew up with those ‘80s classic kids movies like Goonies, Little Monsters, etc mixed with stuff like Red Dawn, and other big bad Soviets movies. Plot is ridiculous nonsense. Beyond stupid. But it’s fun as mindless entertainment if you are willing to ignore all that I suppose.

It's not renewed? What? Besides a so so finale, it was a brilliant first season. How the fvck wouldn't it be renewed by hbo, basically the best original show they done in a while. Despite having an annoying lead, it pretty much captures that slice of life.

P.S slight spoiler, hope a potential new season shows they really didn't kill off my favourite character.

I'm big fan of sci fi/supernatural shows/movies, but didnt get into it this at all, only tried 3-4 episodes of first season. Reason is for what Post Ironic says, this show is just pure teen 80s nostalgia ride, was clear with every frame and song choice. And even tho I'm an 80s kid, that wasn't enough to keep my interest off the bat.

everyone suddenly becomes movies science expert after watching a couple of bulshit series. Superman & Lois is number 1.

Its not not renewed, basically HBO are still yet to announce anything, which is a bit strange given how its one of their best shows.

I hope your favorite is the guy not the "kurwa kurwa Im so Polish" Polina :p

Was the forgettable, sane and boring kind of balkan :p:D

But yeah all direct former yugo core nations (serb-croat, bosnian, montenegrin slovenian) languages are pretty distinct to the ear and are identical. Atleast for the first 4, not sure Slovenian is as identical, tho guessing very close.

I'm having a hard time suspending disbelief that a bunch of actors who in real life are now getting divorces and IVF treatments are somehow still in school.

Bolder and more surprising still was a character like All In The Family's Archie Bunker, who was written from the beginning to be an unlikable bigot. But people developed an affection for him anyway.

Maybe a bit like Tony Soprano for that matter....
