Anyone watching Legion?

Man this is one of the biggest mindfuck shows/movies I have ever seen. Watching an episode makes my head hurt :D.

Which is quite an accomplishment for a comic book show.
I only watched the first episode and gotta say I didn't like it at all. First half was so poorly directed it felt like 20 different guys worked on it, and not because it was confusing, but because parts were cut so bad.

I think I'll watch one more to decide if it'll end up in the garbage can.

I might be wrong but I think the things you consider bad directing and cutting are actually intentional by the shows creator (he directed the 1st episode). It fits how Legion's mind works and the director wanted that imo.

Also it's funny how you said "it felt like 20 different guys worked on it", because that is exactly who Legion is . I think the show might have done to you exactly what it wanted to do :p.

You might be right, but I didn't like that! :D

And btw, I'm a huge fan of a good mindfuck movie/tvshow :D yet it failed to impress. I guess I'll give another episode a go.

I started watching Bratya Karamazovy. It's nice but I'm not sure how would like it those who never read the book. It feels like fragments which aren't put together that well and it does require sort of a background I guess. However, gotta say how this isn't even 5% of the quality which book has. It's just impossible to make a tv show about it either way.

How the hell do you even make a TV show out of something like that?

:boh: I guess everyone would want to mess his fingers with such a legendary creation. Although, yeah, I'd say it's literally impossible to make. Dunno if it'd be easier if it had like 4-5 seasons but I'm not sure people would have the interest.

It's without a shadow of doubt my favorite book I ever read.

I don't know if it's intentional, but I don't think I've ever felt as much hate for a character as I do for Gus in Netflix's Love.

That guy needs to die. Slowly.
